As we all know, owning our own holiday home is great – we can get away from all the hustle and bustle of everyday life whenever we choose (work and school permitting of course) and just sit back and relax, whether it be paddling in the sea or strolling through the countryside. No worrying about work, the school run or commuting – just chilling!
Sometimes though, it would be nice just to go somewhere different wouldn’t it, but with all the costs involved in owning our own holiday home, it isn’t always financially viable to go on different holidays. This is where holiday home swapping is the ideal solution.
If your holiday home is in Cornwall for example, but you’ve always been keen on the idea of visiting Scotland, just find an owner in Scotland who fancies a holiday in Cornwall, and voilà - the perfect holiday home swap! Or you may have a holiday home in Wales, but have family on the south coast of England you would like to visit without having to stay with them – the possibilities are endless. If the properties are similar, it’s unlikely that any money will need to change hands either – what could be better?
