Kingfisher Lodge is our beautifully equipped, 40’ x 20’ Willerby Boston, 3 bedroom, 2 shower room Lodge, located at White Acres Holiday Park near Newquay, Cornwall.

Kingfisher Lodge is located in the Chestnut Forest area of the park, looking out over Jenny's Lake - It has a large secure decking area offering stunning 180 degree views for miles around and dedicated parking for up to 2 large cars.

Wi-Fi is included in the cost of your holiday, with unlimited downloads and a 42" smart TV giving you access to your own Netflix, Disney, Apple and Amazon accounts etc.

Entrance:
As you walk into the lodge there is a large coat cupboard, with the kitchen, dining and lounge areas being open plan in front of you. There are large sliding doors out onto the decking area and a big picture window giving great views across the park, lakes and distant countryside.

Kitchen: Gas oven and 5 ring hob, microwave, large fridge/freezer, washing machine, full size dishwasher, toaster & kettle & boiler cupboard

Lounge: 42" Smart TV (inc. DVD player) and DAB music system. We also supply iron, ironing board, clothes airer and vacuum cleaner.

Bedrooms: One master bedroom with pocket sprung king size bed, TV, en-suite shower room and walk-in wardrobe; two twin bedded rooms, both with TV's. Beds will be made up with hotel quality white linen, ready for your arrival. Towels are not supplied.

Heating: Full central heating with a digital thermostat allowing easy control of the heating for you included in the cost

Shower rooms: Two large shower rooms with shower, basin and WC (one is an en-suite to the master bedroom),

Outside: The decking area wraps around the lodge, with table and chairs for 6 (new for 2025) and 2 sun loungers, allowing you to make the most of the stunning views across the park and onwards for miles. The perfect place to enjoy breakfast and make plans for your day out exploring the area or just to sit and watch the fishermen.

Dedicated off-road parking for up to 2 large cars. Further parking is available on request - all free of charge

All bedding is included for the number of guests booked - with beds made for your arrival. Towels are only included on 2 week plus bookings. We can supply towels on stays shorter than 2 weeks for a small fee if required.

I am Carolyn and together with my husband, Mark, we run Lake View Holidays Cornwall, which we set up in 2018 to offer you beautiful and well maintained holiday lets. We have owned Kingfisher Lodge since 2020 and work hard to make sure you have the best holiday when you stay with us. You can check out our reviews on our website.

Terms & Conditions

DEPOSIT
• We request a £50 deposit to secure your booking

PAYMENTS
• The outstanding balance must be received 6 weeks before the start date of the holiday. If the booking is made within 6 weeks of arrival, then payment in full is required.
• We require a £50 refundable security bond to be paid in addition to the holiday cost. This will be refunded by BACS within 7 days of your departure if the Lodge is left in a clean and tidy condition, free of damage. The Lodge and contents will be checked after departure and any items missing or any damage to the Lodge or its contents must be paid for in full. The hirer must inform the owners of any breakages, faults or problems as soon as possible. Photographs will be taken to ensure that there is no misunderstanding.
CANCELLATION
• If you cancel your holiday the following deductions with apply:
• If you cancel anytime up to 7 weeks prior to arrival - full deposit retained.
• If you cancel after this 100% of hire charge will be retained.
• We would suggest that you take out holiday insurance to cover any cancellation costs
• The owners reserve the right to cancel the booking should there be any equipment failure or damage by previous users which isn’t repairable in time. In such an event the Hirer shall be notified as soon as is practical with the Owners liability limited to the value of any payment received from the hirer.

ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE
• Check in time is 4pm. As soon as the lodge is ready for you, we will call to let you know.
• Check in process and key handover procedure will be emailed over the week prior to your holiday starting.
• Please vacate the Lodge by 9am on the day of departure unless a prior arrangement for a later departure has been arranged (this may incur additional cost).
• Our aim is to hire properties of a very high standard that are cleaned to a very high standard; we believe that all guests have the right to expect such a service. To help us achieve such a very high standard, all our guests agree to take care of the Lodge, which they are renting, and will leave the Lodge in a clean and tidy condition at the end of their holiday.
• Please ensure that you return the keys to the lock box on departure

ELECTRIC CAR CHARGING
• The park strictly prohibits the charging of any type of electric vehicle from the domestic supply within the lodge
• If you breach this rule, we reserve the right to withhold your security bond to cover our costs
• If you require information on local charging points please request this by email

About the Area

White Acres Holiday Park is located just 2.5 miles off of the main A30 trunk road on the A392 heading into Newquay. The Park is laid out over 183 acres of beautiful Cornish countryside, with 12 lakes to explore / fish. Other on site facilities include:

NEW for 2025 is a kids Arts & Crafts room offering pottery painting and Build a Bear activities and fully refurbished sports bar complete with electronic darts and a curling lane!

Local Area

White Acres Holiday Park, near Newquay in Cornwall, is the perfect location from which to explore all that Cornwall has to offer. The closest beaches are Porth, Watergate Bay, Mawgan Porth, Fistral and Crantock. Further afield you have Holywell, Perranporth, Polly Joke, Chapel Porth, Porthcothan and St Agnes.

Food shopping options are numerous with all the big chains being available locally, including Sainsbury’s, Morrisons, Co-op, Lidl and Aldi.

Newquay is the closest main town and offers many restaurants, beaches, shops and bars to try out. Boat trips and coasteering activities are bookable down at the Harbour, or you could try a surfing lesson.
