Cottage Description
Our cottage holiday home on Honicombe Manor Holiday Park, has a reverse level interior with outstanding views over the Tamar Valley and Dartmoor.
It is a level walk to the facilities.
We also own the cottage next door so two families can come together but be near each other.
You walk in to the hallway with doors off to the bedrooms, shower room and a sperate bathroom. Then walk upstairs to a large lounge, dining area and fully fitted kitchen with built in double oven, electric hob, fridge, freezer, microwave and dishwasher. The dining table is large enough to sit 6 people if you have guests with patio doors out to a balcony where you get the views. Under the stairs is a full size washing machine.
The lounge area as a smart TV, DVD player, spacious corner unit to relax on, plus a 2 seater settee for you to sit and look at the views.
There is free Wi-Fi in the lodge. but we have to advice guest that it is wireless and this can cause problems at busy times.
There is a full size bath with an electric shower, toilet, a full size wash basin and an electric towel rail in the bathroom. The shower room has a shower cubicle, toilet and small wash basin.
A large double bedroom has a door out to a small decking area. The second bedroom has 2 single beds.
Included in the price is bed linen, towels and electric . You are able to use the swimming pools and gym. with this holiday home but not with the one next door, so if there are two families please take note.
This is an ideal location for family holidays with children during school holidays. During the other weeks it is perfect for people that like to walk, cycle or just relax in this beautiful and quiet valley.
Short breaks of 3 nights plus possible. Short breaks and weekly breaks arrival dates can be any day of the week.

About the Area
Honicombe Manor Holiday Resort offer many facilities on site, including a bar/restaurant, heated outdoor pool (summer only), indoor heated pool with children's splash pool (open all year), a games room, and fitness centre.There is also 2 children's play areas and outdoor tennis court.
Honicombe Manor Holiday Resort is set in the Tamar Valley on the Cornwall/Devon boarder and is ideal as a base to visit both counties.
There are a number of National Trust and English Heritage properties to visit and enjoy within the area, including nearby Cothele House and Launceston Castle, to name just two.
Within a 30 minute drive you can visit either the north or south coast of Cornwall, as well as the Naval town of Plymouth with its shops, restaurants and Aquarium.
For golf lovers St Mellion golf course is a 10 minute drive away.
