This really is The Bees Knees!!

A very warm welcome awaits you and your family at our delightful family owned 4 Berth + cot Bee themed caravan 'The Bees Knees' at Sandhills Bembridge on the beautiful Isle of Wight with spectacular coastal views .

The Bees Knees is delightfully bee themed throughout, giving the holiday home a real home from home feel with all the comforts you would expect when holidaying.

Spacious lounge area has comfortable three and two seater sofas, Smart TV, DAB radio, a selection of DVDs, various games for children and an electric fire for those cosy, mild nights. The caravan is double glazed throughout with cosy electric heating in every room.

Well equipped kitchen with large fridge and separate freezer, Airfyer, gas cooker, microwave, kettle, coffee machine, toaster etc. We also supply dishcloths, scorers, tea towels, kitchen roll, anti-bacterial handwash, washing-up liquid, anti-bacterial spray, iron, ironing board, hairdryer and hoover. Please Note: We do not supply toiletries.

The two bedrooms consist of a double bedroom and a twin bedroom. The double bedroom has ample storage and a Freeview TV. The twin bedroom also has a Freeview TV and a wardrobe. Door leading into family shower room from the double. There is also a lockable door from the hallway leading into the shower room." Jack n Jill"

Price includes all bed linen (beds made up for your arrival),hand and bath towels. We kindly request you bring your own beach towels. All mattress protectors and pillow protectors are changed for every booking, to ensure a high standard of cleanliness.

The family shower room has a spacious walk-in shower. Also supplied are toilet rolls and anti-bacterial handwash.

Being new Grandparents ourselves we know how much room babies can take up when packing up the car so upon request and at no extra charge we are happy to supply travel cot with freshly laundered linen, highchair, booster seat, changing mat, safety gate, pushchair & child's toilet seat

There is a small washing line, pegs, linen basket and clothes airer.

You will enjoy a seasonal welcome pack of island produce on arrival, there is even a small gift for the children.

From the French doors you will lead onto the secure decking area where you will watch the cruise ships sail past, spectacular sea views and over to the mainland of West Wittering and across the Island. Comfortable outdoor seating and table ideal for those alfresco summer evenings, with a BBQ( we kindly request you supply your own charcoal) and outdoor solar lighting & sun loungers.

Bookings & Conditions

A £100 security deposit will be required upon booking, this will also be to secure your booking. Balance will be due 28 days prior to arrival.

Bookings are usually taken Sunday to Sunday, but we are flexible during low season, please enquire. We also offer Short breaks (out of season only & a minimum of three nights).

Arrival time is 3pm, departure time 10am unless there is a prior arrangement with us.

All fire alarms and carbon monoxide sensors are tested weekly prior to your arrival and logged to ensure your safety, we also have a fire blanket and fire extinguisher for your added piece of mind.

We kindly ask that you refrain from smoking indoors (including e-cigarettes/vapes) and on the decking area.

Sorry, we do not accept pets (site rules).

Water, gas and electricity are included in our rental charges, all you need to do is relax and enjoy.

Discounted ferry travel from both Wightlink and Red Funnel are available to guests, we will even book the ferry for you !Please discuss with us whilst making your booking.

Sandhills is a family run site aimed for couples and family groups, no hen or stag parties, please.

1.Introduction
1.1These terms and conditions set out the terms on which we agree to hire the above caravan to you. Guests are expected to behave in a reasonable way whilst on the Park and to comply with these terms and conditions.

1.2 We reserve the right to ask guests that contravene these terms and conditions or, who are behaving in a manner which, in the opinion of the Park Management, is likely to cause distress or nuisance to other visitors or members of the Park staff to leave the Park immediately. In these circumstances the holiday booking is cancelled and we shall not be liable for any extra costs incurred by you.

2.Arrival and Departure
2.1 Guests are kindly asked to report to Reception on arrival to collect their parking pass.(Reception opening hours are 9am- 5pm)
Our units are available from 3pm on day of arrival and we kindly ask you vacate by 10am on day of departure.
2.3 Maintenance and housekeeping is all completed by ourselves, checked before and after each let. Any breakages, damage or missing items, including keys, which occur during your stay will be charged to you. (Please log any breakages in the breakages book) We also reserve the right to charge for excessive cleaning incurred after your departure.

3.Bookings
3.1 Sandhills operate a family friendly Park and therefore bookings of all male, female or young people will only be permitted by the sole discretion of ourselves.
3.2 Provisional bookings can only be taken if the starting date of hire is more than 30 days in advance.
3.3 Provisional bookings will be held for 7 days. If we have not received a completed booking form and security deposit of £100 we reserve the right to cancel the hire without notice.
3.4 The full balance of the hire charge is due 28 days prior to arrival, if the balance is not received we reserve the right to cancel your booking.
3.5 On receipt of your booking form and deposit ( or full hire charge if less than 6 weeks before start date of the hire ) we will send you confirmation of booking.
3.6 Once your booking confirmation is issued if you are forced to cancel your holiday , for whatever reason, any monies paid less deposit element will only be refunded if the unit is re let. We must be notified of all cancellations in writing. If you cancel within 72 hours of the starting date of the hire of the unit or decide to depart earlier than the end date of your holiday no refunds will be given. We strongly advise you to take out your own holiday cancellation insurance to cover your booking in the event of having to cancel.

4.General
4.1. All units are non -smoking including e -cigarettes
4.2 We regret no dogs or other pets are permitted in the units or on the Park
4.3 Children are the responsibility of their parents or guardians at all times whilst on the Park.
4.4 Kites must not be flown on the Park
4.5 Games involving hard balls or other dangerous objects may not be played near the vicinity of the units or any other neighbouring caravans
4.6 Refuse must not be left or deposited outside, please use the refuse bins provided. These are located opposite the Reception /Shop
4.7 Any breakages or damage will be charged for.

5.Utilities
5.1. If you unfortunately experience any problems with your unit electrical, gas or water systems please contact either myself Joy on 07972715627 or Reception. You must not attempt to work on the systems yourself.
5.2 The changing of gas cylinders by anyone not expressly authorised to do so by us is prohibited. If you think you may have ran out of gas please contact Reception and they will change the bottle over for you. PLEASE DO NOT TRY AND CHANGE THE BOTTLE YOURSELF.

6.Vehicles and Boats
6.1 There is a 10mph speed limit on the Park which we kindly ask is adhered to at all times.
6.2 No vehicle except a private car is permitted on site, motorhomes, lorries, vans and commercial vehicles of any sort are only permitted by prior arrangement.
6.3 Only vehicles taxed and insured for use on public road may be kept on the Park
6.4 Unless you are visiting the Reception on day or arrival or departure we kindly ask for your vehicle to be parked next to the unit
6.5 Guests car passes should be displayed in their cars at all times whilst on the Park.
6.6 Boats are only permitted on the Park by prior arrangement.
6.7 Granny Charging of EV is strictly prohibited .For charging points across the island please refer to our visitors hand book .

About the Area


Set in the beautiful countryside on the eastern coast of the Isle of Wight nestled under Culver Down you will find ‘The Bee’s Knees’.

The Bee’s Knees is ideal for you and your family to relax and enjoy all that the Island has to offer.

Located in an area of outstanding natural beauty, Sandhills Holiday Park has a cliff top setting with breath-taking coastal views.

The sandy Whitecliff Bay is just a stroll away and can be accessed by Sandhills own private footpath.

Sandhills Holiday Park has a children's play area that will keep the children entertained, a well-stocked shop with off licence for all those essentials including groceries, beachwear , a launderette with washing machines and dryers (tokens will need to be purchased from reception). There is also a phone box and post office located at Reception.

Local Attractions:

There are numerous, pubs, restaurants, cafes and children's play areas to choose from on the island. There are 3 local pubs all within walking distance, serving fabulous local produce, great local beers and Ales.

We have an extensive information booklet in The Bees Knees with every attraction listed, leaflets and information on where to visit, what to see and do. From beaches to bars, restaurants, model village, theme parks, dinosaurs and even dinosaur bones, quaint chocolate shops, tea gardens, Island Gin & Vodka distillery, coastal walks, cycling, plenty of hidden gems, Osbourne House, Brading Roman Villa, Carisbrooke Castle and many more.

There is so much to see and do on the island, if this is your first visit, we are sure you will want to return again and again to see everything that you can.

Living locally, we clean the Bees Knees ourselves to ensure cleaning is to a high standard. We are on hand if you need any advice or assistance, we will do our best to help.
