Forget Me Not Lodge is located on Haven’s Seton Sands Holiday Village on the coast at Port Seton in East Lothian, Scotland.

It has 5* reviews from our guests for our now 4th year on the park, for comfort, cleanliness & all our little extras we offer.

Located on the sea front row of the park, surrounded by other lodges in a cul-de-sac, just a 2 minute walk from the beach and all the parks amenities.

Our family Haven SIGNATURE GOLD grade lodge is exceptionally spacious at 42ft x 14ft and provides an exceptional luxurious countryside 5* stay with stylish soft furnishings, all the mod cons you could hope for in a holiday home away from home.

Panoramic frontage with amazing sea views, sliding patio doors lead to our full wrap around gated decking & patio furniture at the front. Parking for 2 cars next to the lodge.

The spacious lounge/kitchen/diner is open plan giving a wonderful ambience, all our furniture is free-standing, 2 large sofas, fireplace with remote controlled electric fire, TV unit, Smart TV so you can log into Netflix etc., unlimited fast wi-fi, PS3 player with 13 DVDs to choose from, a PS3 with 2 controllers and 12 games to choose from, a pack of playing cards, UNO and stickle bricks for the younger one’s in the family.

The stylish kitchen area has a table and chairs for up to 5 people. The kitchen has everything you’d require “should you choose” to cook a meal, 5 burner gas hob, oven & grill, integrated frost free fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher and Bosch washing machine. In addition we have a Ninja Dual Air Fryer, Nespresso Citiz coffee machine with pods, milk warmer/frother, a kettle, toaster and individually wrapped tea, coffee and sugar.

We provide a welcome basket & there are cleaning products, dishwasher/washing machine pods for your use during your stay.. There’s also an ironing board & steam iron for your use & a G-Tech carpet sweeper, mop/bucket, floor brush etc & a clothes airer for your convenience.

There are three bedrooms, all beds are fully made up for your arrival.
The beds have upgraded pocket sprung mattresses & bamboo memory foam toppers on all beds for extra comfort. All our beds have enclosed mattress protectors, additional padded mattress protectors, enclosed duvet protectors on our luxury 100% Hungarian down duvets & pillow protectors.

The principal bedroom has king size bed, dressing table/chair, with drawers, there are day & night privacy blinds & blackout curtains. Wardrobe & drawer storage and its own en-suite walk in-shower room.
We provide a hairdryer & straightening irons in this room.

Bath sheet Towels, Hand Towels & bath mats are provided for lodge use only.

Please bring swimming & beach towels & a towel for your dog if bringing one.

The generous twin room has 2 full size single beds, wardrobe/drawers & 1 plug in night light.
Privacy nets & curtains.
TV on the wall.
We provide a hairdryer in this room.

2nd twin room has 2ft 6” beds, bedside table, night light, wardrobe with drawers. Day & night blind & curtains.

We can offer a Travel Cot bed & bedding from the Little White Company is available as is a high chair on request.

Maximum occupancy is 6 in beds, if cot bed is required there is a £30 charge,
£75 for sofa bed.

There is a walk in shower room, roomy shower, sink, toilet & plenty storage, shaver points in the hallway walk in shower room.
Complimentary toiletries are provided in both bathrooms.

The lodge is capable of sleeping 6 comfortably or maximum 7 guests if the sofa bed in the lounge is used, surcharges for additional guests (must be registered with Haven to stay in the lodge for fire risk).

Fully double glazed with central heating controlled via Hive thermostat. There are TRV,s on each radiator, perfect for warmer lounge-cooler bedrooms.
Forget Me Not Lodge is insulated to residential specifications, cooler in summer, warmer in the cooler months of the season.

At the entrance to the holiday park there are frequent buses directly into Edinburgh, Lothian Regional Transport - 26 Seton Sands.

The park has a 9 hole golf course with the best views over the Firth of Forth & also the “trim trail” a walk around the perimeter of the golf course, a lovely 20 minute walk if you have your dog with you or want to tire the kiddie’s out without having to constantly watch the roads as there is none on this walk.

East Lothian has too many golf courses to mention along the coastline.

This family-orientated park has fantastic facilities, on park restaurant Boatie Blest, where you can relax, have a coffee/drink/meal, pets are welcome.

In addition there is a Chip shop, Papa Johns Pizza Van, mini market & launderette, swimming pool & arcades.

Please note; by booking with us you are booking the holiday home only.

We have been informed that play passes may be subject to availability and will be available for private rental guests to purchase & book activities up to 12 weeks & 4 weeks for swimming in advance of your arrival date only once full payment for the holiday home rental has been received.

In purchasing play-passes it will give access to booking, swimming sessions and activities, entertainment venues. Please be aware that some activities may incur an extra charge over and above the cost of your play-pass.

GUEST WHO DO NOT WISH TO PURCHASE PLAY-PASSES -can still enjoy;
Arcades, Restaurants, take away food outlets, supermarket, launderette and outdoor play areas.

LEAD GUEST MUST BE 25 YEARS AND OVER.

If you choose to purchase stay/play passes you’ll have access to a 9 hole golf course with stunning views over the Firth of Forth, a swimming pool, with flumes and various water sport activities & day time/evening entertainment for all the family to enjoy.

Once you're all unpacked and ready to explore you can take a stroll into Port Seton to be met by a range of amenities, food stores, shops, charming pubs, delicious chippy where your fish and chips can be eaten down by the small picturesque harbour.

The local East Lothian area is renowned for world famous golf courses, Archerfield and Muirfield to name just a few.
 From the lodge you are just a ten minute stroll down to the sandy beaches at Port Seton or there is parking available too down at the Bents car parking which is a 2 minute drive from the park but you have a whole East Coast of beaches to explore as well as many local castles & historic sites.

Take a leisurely climb up North Berwick Law, usually takes around 45 minutes to climb and the same to get back down but while you're up there take a few moments to admire your surroundings and the amazing views it has to offer.

 Grab a bus into Edinburgh from the main entrance to the Park- into Princess Street and you’re in the Capital City of Edinburgh and all it has to offer or park at the park & ride in Longniddry and get the train into Waverley train station, a mere 15 minute train ride.

There's so much to see and do from your base at Forget Me Not, the perfect choice for your next escape with the added benefit of a good bit of luxury thrown in!

GENERAL BOOKING TERMS & CONDITIONS
Thank you for choosing to book your holiday with Forget Me Not Lodge at Seton Sands. We hope you have a wonderful and enjoyable stay.
Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully. Together with your booking confirmation, they form the agreement between you, the hirer, and the owners of Forget Me Not Lodge.
1. GENERAL INFORMATION
Forget Me Not Lodge is a privately owned holiday home. We are not affiliated with Haven/Bourne Leisure.
Our property is available for private rental stays of 3, 4 or 7 nights, up to a maximum of 28 nights, in our self-catering holiday home.
Your agreement is solely for the rental of Forget Me Not Lodge. Any products, services, entertainment, activities or passes associated with Seton Sands Holiday Village must be booked and paid for directly through Haven.
Bookings will only be accepted from a lead hirer aged 25 years or over.
We understand that holidays are enjoyable and that family and friends may also be visiting the park during your stay. We are renting our holiday home to you and the guests listed on your registration form.
Given the stunning location of Forget Me Not Lodge, we kindly ask that guests do not use the lodge or its decking as a general meeting or hang-out space for visitors who are not registered guests.
We thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
SMOKING & VAPING
Forget Me Not Lodge is strictly non-smoking and non-vaping.
Guests must not smoke or vape inside the lodge or out of an open window.
We understand that smoke may occasionally transfer from clothing; however, there is a significant difference between residual scent and evidence of smoking inside the property.
Strong or persistent smoke odours may affect the return of your security deposit.
Should specialist deodorising or an enhanced deep-cleaning process be required to remove smoke or vaping odours, the associated costs will be deducted from your security deposit.
GROUP BOOKINGS
We must comply with Haven’s Terms & Conditions and therefore cannot accept bookings for groups of young people, stag parties or hen parties.
The lodge owners reserve the right to refuse any booking that does not meet our booking criteria.
ALLERGIES, HEALTH & MOBILITY
Please advise us at the time of booking if anyone in your party has any allergies or health or mobility considerations that may affect their stay.
We can provide a free-standing toilet frame for guests with minor mobility concerns, subject to availability.
Guests using any additional equipment provided do so at their own risk.
PHOTOGRAPHS, VIDEOS & RECORD KEEPING
We take photographs and walk-around videos of the lodge between each let. These are date-stamped and retained to help us identify any damage and ensure repairs are carried out before the next guest arrives wherever possible.
If immediate repairs are not feasible, we will notify the incoming guest of any existing damage so there is a clear record that it was present before their stay.
This process helps us maintain the condition of the lodge and provides clear documentation should a damage claim become necessary.
Meter readings are also recorded before and after each let.

⚡ ELECTRIC VEHICLE CHARGING
For safety reasons, electric vehicle charging is not permitted from Forget Me Not Lodge.
Domestic sockets and standard household “trickle chargers” are not designed for sustained EV charging and may create safety risks, including overheating or fire.
Unauthorised EV charging is therefore strictly prohibited. Any resulting costs, damage or losses will be the responsibility of the guest.
We may carry out a vehicle check to establish the fuel type of a vehicle where necessary. This is due to an increase in EV charging from holiday homes and caravans on site.
Haven provides EV charging points in the main car park. Please contact Haven directly for current pricing and availability.
If you charge an electric vehicle from the lodge’s electricity supply despite this prohibition, you will be responsible for the electricity consumed. The cost will be calculated using the current electricity rate and deducted from your security deposit, or otherwise recovered from you where appropriate.

2. BOOKING, DEPOSIT & PAYMENT
We now collect booking information by email as we find this to be a quicker and simpler process.
We require the following information:
Full name of lead hirer
Address
Postcode
Email address
Contact telephone number
Vehicle registration number
Expected arrival time, for example 3–4pm or 4–5pm, in one-hour increments
Names of all adults
Names and ages of all children
For Haven registration purposes, please provide the ages of children in your party. We use the following age categories:
Infants: 0–4 years
Children: 4–15 years
Adults: 16 years and over
This information is required to register guests correctly for Haven facilities and passes.
ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
All bookings are subject to these Terms & Conditions, whether or not the hirer has read them.
By paying the booking deposit, the lead hirer confirms that they have read, understood and accepted these Terms & Conditions and agrees that they apply to all members of their registered party.
MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY & GROUP COMPOSITION
Forget Me Not Lodge can accommodate a maximum of 6 guests.
However, the following group restrictions apply:
Mixed-sex group consisting entirely of single adults: maximum 5 guests.
All-male or all-female group consisting entirely of single adults: maximum 5 guests.
The maximum occupancy must never be exceeded without the prior written agreement of the lodge owner.
CHANGES TO BOOKINGS
Any changes to the original booking after payment must be requested by the lead hirer and approved by the owner before arrival.
The lead hirer must stay at the lodge for the duration of the booking and is responsible for all members of the booked party.
The lead hirer must take reasonable steps to ensure that no member of their party causes nuisance, disturbance or inconvenience to other guests or residents on the park.
Subletting or reselling the holiday is strictly prohibited.
Only guests listed on the registration form may stay at the lodge. If additional or unregistered guests stay at the lodge, the lead hirer and their entire party may be required to leave immediately. No refund will be given.
The lodge owners reserve the right to refuse any booking and/or terminate a booking where our Terms & Conditions have been breached, at our absolute discretion.

BOOKING DEPOSIT
A £150 booking/security deposit is payable on receipt of the booking information. Your booking will be confirmed once the deposit has been received.
Guests will then be registered through the Haven portal where applicable.
Payment is accepted by bank transfer. Please use the lead hirer’s name as the payment reference and notify us once payment has been made.
The booking deposit is non-refundable in the event of cancellation.
The outstanding balance is payable 6 weeks prior to arrival.
Where a booking is made less than 6 weeks before arrival, payment in full will be required at the time of booking.
IMPORTANT
By paying your deposit, you are agreeing in full to these Terms & Conditions.
If the deposit is not received, the provisional booking will be considered cancelled and the dates will not be held.
Once your deposit has been received and your registration completed, if you subsequently cancel your stay, we may need to cancel your Haven registration. This may also result in any Haven play passes or activities that have been booked and paid for being cancelled.
SECURITY DEPOSIT REFUND
The £150 security deposit is refundable following your stay provided that:
No damage has occurred.
There are no excessive stains or damage to linen, towels, carpets, furniture or furnishings.
No items or inventory are missing.
The lodge has been left in a neat and tidy condition.
All guests have complied fully with these Terms & Conditions.
We aim to refund the deposit on the day of departure wherever possible.

3. CANCELLATION POLICY
Booking deposits are non-refundable in the event of cancellation.
If you fail to pay the outstanding balance by the final payment date stated on your booking confirmation, we will regard this as cancellation of the booking. No refund will be given and the dates may be re-listed for other guests.
We strongly recommend that all guests take out suitable travel insurance.
If you choose not to take out travel insurance, you accept responsibility for any financial loss resulting from cancellation.
CANCELLATION CHARGES

Cancellations must be confirmed by the hirer by email or telephone.
Deposits remain non-refundable in the event of cancellation.
If you wish to postpone your holiday, any outstanding balance must first be paid. If you subsequently cancel, the booking will revert to the original dates and our cancellation policy will apply.
If the hirer fails to arrive for the start of their stay, no refund will be given.
No refund will be made where a hirer commences their stay and subsequently leaves the lodge for any reason, including an emergency at home.
If you or any member of your party is asked to leave the lodge or holiday park by the park owners, lodge owners, security or staff, or if you or a member of your party is removed from the site by Police, no refund will be given.
IF THE LODGE BECOMES UNAVAILABLE
In the unlikely event that Forget Me Not Lodge becomes unavailable for your rental period due to circumstances beyond our control, we may have to cancel the booking.
We will make every reasonable effort to arrange alternative accommodation, but this may not always be possible.
Where we are unable to provide the booked accommodation, the hirer will receive a full refund of monies paid to us for the booking.
The hirer will have no further claim against the lodge owner.

4. UPON COMMENCEMENT OF HIRE
CHECK-IN
Check-in is available from 3pm on the first day of your stay.
Where possible, we will meet guests on arrival to ensure everything is to your satisfaction and answer any questions.
SMART KEY SAFE
Forget Me Not Lodge has a smart key safe located on the decking.
The key safe is time and date sensitive. Once your booking is complete, we will provide you with a unique 8-digit access code, together with instructions on how to operate the key safe.
One set of keys will be provided.
Please return the keys to the key safe when you depart.
If keys are accidentally taken home, they must be returned by signed-for post at the guest’s expense.
If keys are lost during your stay, the replacement cost may be deducted from your security deposit.
BEDDING & TOWELS
We provide bedding and all beds will be made up ready for your arrival.
Each bed is provided with appropriate mattress and pillow protection, sheets, duvet covers and pillowcases.
We also provide:
Bath sheets
Hand towels
Bath mats
Tea towels
Oven gloves
All bedding, towels and other supplied textiles are provided for use within the lodge only.
Please do not remove mattress or pillow protectors from the beds.
DECKING & OUTDOOR FURNITURE
Outdoor seating is provided on the decking.
Cushions are supplied for your use on the understanding that they are returned clean, dry and neatly arranged after use.
Damage to cushions, covers or outdoor furniture may result in a charge against your security deposit.
EQUIPMENT
Instruction sheets are provided within the lodge for equipment and appliances.
If you are unsure how to operate any item, please do not attempt to use it until you have checked the instructions or contacted us.
The lodge owner cannot be held responsible for injury resulting from improper or inappropriate use of equipment within the lodge or on Seton Sands Holiday Village.
PARKING
The lodge has one allocated parking space for one vehicle only.
Please do not park:
On the grass
On the roadside
In neighbouring or empty allocated parking spaces
If you are travelling with additional vehicles, please use the overflow car park near the main entrance.

5. LODGE & PARK RULES
We kindly ask all guests to follow these simple rules during their stay.
Failure to comply with these Terms & Conditions may result in the entire party being required to leave the lodge without notice. No refund will be given.
Smoking & Vaping
Smoking and vaping are prohibited inside the lodge and out of open windows.
Please dispose of cigarette ends responsibly in an appropriate outdoor bin.
Candles & BBQs
Candles, naked flames and BBQs must not be used inside the lodge or on the decking.
Electrical Equipment
Please do not leave chargers unattended or overload electrical sockets, as this can cause electrical circuits to trip and may create a fire risk.
Drugs
No illegal drugs may be stored or used within the lodge.
Prescribed medication may, of course, be brought and used by the person for whom it has been prescribed.
Footwear
Please remove outdoor footwear when entering the lodge, particularly high-heeled or stiletto footwear, which can damage flooring.
Buggies
If you bring a buggy, please do not leave it open inside the lodge. Open buggies can cause significant damage to doorways and furnishings.
Glitter, Loom Bands & Similar Items
Please do not bring glitter, luminous/glow products, plasticine or similar materials into the lodge.
These items can cause significant damage to soft furnishings, flooring and vacuum cleaners and can be costly to remove.
Children must be supervised when using felt-tip pens, loom bands or similar items.
DIY & MAINTENANCE
Guests must not attempt DIY repairs.
If a repair is non-urgent and does not affect your enjoyment of the lodge, it may be carried out once the property is vacant.
Please report all maintenance problems to us in the first instance so that we can arrange appropriate repairs.
For urgent issues involving gas, heating, hot water or electricity, we will aim to arrange assistance as quickly as reasonably possible.
Where an issue is reported after 6pm, engineers or contractors may not be available until the following day.
While we will make every reasonable effort to resolve problems promptly, we cannot be held responsible for breakdowns or malfunctions of equipment or utilities during your stay and no refund will be given in such circumstances.
ACCESS FOR ESSENTIAL MAINTENANCE
We may occasionally need access to the lodge to carry out essential maintenance or repairs.
Where possible, we will schedule work between guest stays. However, this may not always be possible.
If access is required during your stay, we will provide notice wherever reasonably possible, keep visits as brief as possible and make every effort to minimise inconvenience.
Any maintenance work is carried out to ensure the lodge remains safe, comfortable and enjoyable for our guests.
BIKES & SPORTING EQUIPMENT
Please do not store bikes, scooters or other sporting equipment inside the lodge.
Please do not chain bicycles to the decking.
Children must not ride scooters on the decking as this can cause significant damage.
VENTS
Wall, ceiling and floor ventilation vents must not be covered, blocked or taped closed.
NOISE & DISTURBANCE
The lodge owner cannot be held responsible for noise or behaviour from other holidaymakers or residents in neighbouring properties.

Where security or park management is required to deal with an issue outside our control, no refund will be given.
LIABILITY
The holiday park owner, lodge owner and their staff accept no liability for loss or damage to guests’ personal property, or for accidents, injuries, illness or disease arising from the hire of the lodge or use of the holiday park, except where liability cannot lawfully be excluded.
We do not accept responsibility for damage to vehicles while parked outside the lodge or anywhere else within the holiday park.

6. CHECK-OUT
Check-out is before 10am on the day of departure.
Please be on time, as late departures can significantly affect our cleaning schedule.
Where a later check-out has been agreed with the owner in advance, this will be confirmed separately.
Unauthorised late check-out will incur a charge of £15 for every 10 minutes or part thereof after 10am, which may be deducted from your security deposit.
You are welcome to remain on the park and use the available facilities after checking out, but your vehicle must be moved to the main car park.

PLEASE LEAVE THE LODGE AS YOU FOUND IT
Before departure, please check the lodge carefully to ensure that no personal belongings have been left behind.
If we find an item after your departure, we will contact you. Any items returned will be sent at the guest’s expense.
BEDDING
Please remove:
Duvet covers
Pillowcases
Fitted sheets
and place them neatly on top of the mattress protectors on each bed.
We will remove and launder the protective bedding during our changeover.
Thank you for your cooperation.
LINEN & TOWELS
Please be aware that make-up, foundation, medications, creams, fake tan, pens, paint, glue and similar substances can permanently stain or bleach linen and towels.
Where an item cannot be professionally cleaned or salvaged, the replacement cost may be deducted from your security deposit.
KITCHEN
After use, please ensure that all appliances, crockery and cookware are clean and dry before being put away, including:
Oven and grill
Dishes and crockery
Pots and pans
Cutlery
Coffee machine
Toaster
Kettle
Microwave
Air fryer
We provide washing-up liquid, sponges, disinfectant spray, dishwasher tablets and washing-machine pods for your use.
WASTE & DRAINAGE
To prevent blockages, please do not dispose of food waste, fats, dangerous liquids, feminine hygiene products, baby wipes or other unsuitable items down toilets, sinks or shower trays.
FRIDGE & FREEZER
Please empty the fridge and freezer before departure.
Do not switch the appliance off.
FINAL CHECK
Before leaving, please ensure that:
All lights are switched off.
Taps are fully turned off.
Windows are closed and locked.
Doors are closed and locked.
Rubbish has been removed and placed in the nearest on-site bin station.
Keys have been returned to the smart key safe if we are not present.
Please notify us by text if you leave before 10am.
ADDITIONAL CLEANING
Failure to leave the lodge in a reasonably clean and tidy condition may result in an additional £75 cleaning charge being deducted from the security deposit.

7. DAMAGES
If you or any member of your party causes damage during your stay, please notify us as soon as possible.
Damage or breakages costing less than £100 may be deducted from your security deposit, with any remaining balance refunded.
Where damage is more substantial, including damage to:
Internal or external walls
Doors
Television or electrical equipment
Fridge/freezer
Furniture
Soft furnishings
Mattresses
Carpets
Other fixtures or fittings
or where professional cleaning or replacement is required, you agree to meet the full cost of repair, professional cleaning or replacement.
In the event of malicious damage or aggressive, threatening or abusive behaviour, the lodge owners reserve the right to require the hirer and their entire party to leave immediately.
Seton Sands security may contact Police where appropriate.
No refund will be given in these circumstances and all costs arising from damage will be recoverable from the hirer.

8. EVENTS OUTWITH OUR CONTROL
Unfortunately, we cannot accept responsibility or pay compensation if we have to cancel or change a booking because of events beyond our reasonable control.
We cannot accept liability for injury, loss or damage arising from such events.
Examples include, but are not limited to:
Fire
Flood
Explosion
Storm or severe weather
Break-in
Criminal damage
Riots or civil disturbance
Industrial action
Natural or nuclear disaster
Epidemics or pandemics
War or threat of war
Terrorist activity or threat of terrorist activity
Unavoidable technical problems with transport
Other circumstances beyond our reasonable control
We strongly recommend that all guests take out adequate holiday insurance.
INTERNET
Our internet service is provided by Vodafone as a supplementary service and is subject to technical availability.
Maintenance or technical problems affecting the Vodafone mast or wider network on the park are outside our control and may affect internet speed or availability.
No refund will be issued for loss, interruption or reduced speed of the internet service.

9. UTILITIES & FAIR USE
Gas, water and electricity are included within the overall cost of your stay on a fair-use basis.
Meter readings are taken before and after each booking.
Guests must not use the lodge’s electricity supply to charge electric vehicles.
If an electric vehicle is charged from the lodge’s electricity supply despite our prohibition, this constitutes a breach of these Terms & Conditions.
The electricity consumed will be calculated and charged at the applicable electricity rate and deducted from the security deposit where possible. Where the cost exceeds the deposit, or where the booking was made through a third-party platform such as Airbnb, we reserve the right to recover the full cost through the appropriate payment or claims process.

FINAL CONFIRMATION
