Lodge Description
Number 3 at Seton Sands is located on Haven’s Seton Sands Holiday Village on the coast at Port Seton in East Lothian, Scotland.
It has 5* reviews from our guests for our now 3rd year on the park, for comfort, cleanliness & all our little extras we offer.
Located on the back row of the park that is surrounded by other lodges in a quiet cul-de-sac, just an 8 minute walk from the beach and all the parks amenities.
Our family Haven GOLD grade lodge is exceptionally spacious at 42ft x 14ft and provides an exceptional luxurious countryside 5* stay with stylish soft furnishings, all the mod cons you could hope for in a holiday home away from home.
Panoramic frontage with partial sea views, patio doors lead to our full wrap around gated decking & patio furniture. Parking for 1 car next to the lodge.

The spacious lounge/kitchen/diner is open plan giving a wonderful ambience, all our furniture is free-standing, 2 large sofas, fireplace with remote controlled electric fire, TV unit, TV with furestick so you can log into Netflix etc., unlimited wi-fi, DVD player with 13 DVDs to choose from, a PS3 with 2 controllers and 12 games to choose from, a pack of playing cards, UNO and stickle bricks for the younger one’s in the family.
The stylish kitchen area has a table and chairs. The kitchen has everything you’d require “should you choose” to cook a meal, 5 burner gas hob, oven & grill, integrated frost free fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher and Bosch washing machine. In addition we have a Ninja Dual Air Fryer, Nespresso Pixie coffee machine with pods, a kettle, toaster and individually wrapped tea, coffee and sugar.
We provide a welcome basket & there are cleaning products, dishwasher/washing machine pods for your use during your stay.. There’s also an ironing board & steam iron for your use & a G-Tech sweeper, mop/bucket, floor brush etc & an outside clothes airer.
There are two bedrooms, all beds are fully made up for your arrival.
The beds have upgraded pocket sprung mattresses & bamboo memory foam toppers on all beds for extra comfort. All our beds have enclosed mattress protectors, additional padded mattress protectors, enclosed duvet protectors on our 100% Hungarian down duvets & pillow protectors.
The principal bedroom has king size bed, dressing table/chair, with drawers either side, there are day & night privacy blinds & blackout curtains. There is a walk through dressing room that leads into its own en-suite bathroom-shower over bath.
We provide a hairdryer & straightening irons in this room.
Towels & bath mats are provided for lodge use only.
Please bring swimming & beach towels & a towel for your dog if bringing one.
The generous twin room has 2 full size single beds, wardrobe/drawers & 2 plug in night lights.
Day/night privacy blinds & blackout curtains.
TV on the wall.
We provide a hairdryer in this room.
There is ample room for a Travel Cot bed in the master bedroom & bedding from the Little White Company is available as is a high chair on request.
This room will also accommodate a Jay-Be bed between the dresser & the bed.
There is a walk in shower room, roomy shower, sink, toilet & plenty storage, shaver points in the walk in shower room.
Complimentary toiletries are provided in both bathrooms.
The lodge is capable of sleeping 4 comfortably or 5/6if the sofa bed in the lounge is used, surcharges for additional guests (must be registered with Haven to stay in the lodge for fire risk).
Fully double glazed with central heating controlled via Hive thermostat.
Number 3 at Seton Sands is insulated to residential specifications, cooler in summer, warmer in the cooler months of the season.
At the entrance to the holiday park there are frequent buses directly into Edinburgh, Lothian Regional Transport - 26 Seton Sands.
Just behind Number 3 is a 9 hole golf course with the best views over the Firth of Forth & also the “trim trail” a walk around the perimeter of the golf course, a lovely 20 minute walk if you have your dog with you or want to tire the kiddie’s out without having to constantly watch the roads as there is none on this walk.
East Lothian has too many golf courses to mention along the coast line.
This family-orientated park has fantastic facilities, on park restaurant Boatie Blest, where you can relax, have a coffee/drink/meal, pets are welcome.
In addition there is a Chip shop, mini market & launderette, swimming pool & arcades.
Please note; by booking with us you are booking the holiday home only.
We have been informed that play passes may be subject to availability and will be available for private rental guests to purchase & book activities up to 12 weeks & 4 weeks for swimming in advance of your arrival date only once full payment for the holiday home rental has been received.
In purchasing play-passes it will give access to booking, swimming sessions and activities, entertainment venues. Please be aware that some activities may incur an extra charge over and above the cost of your play-pass.

If you choose to purchase stay/play passes you’ll have access to a 9 hole golf course with stunning views over the Firth of Forth, a swimming pool, with flumes and various water sport activities & day time/evening entertainment for all the family to enjoy.
Once you're all unpacked and ready to explore you can take a stroll into Port Seton to be met by a range of amenities, food stores, shops, charming pubs, delicious chippy where your fish and chips can be eaten down by the small picturesque harbour.
The local East Lothian area is renowned for world famous golf courses, Archerfield and Muirfield to name just a few.
From the lodge you are just a ten minute stroll down to the sandy beaches at Port Seton or there is parking available too down at the Bents car parking which is a 2 minute drive from the park but you have a whole East Coast of beaches to explore as well as many local castles & historic sites.
Take a leisurely climb up North Berwick Law, usually takes around 45 minutes to climb and the same to get back down but while you're up there take a few moments to admire your surroundings and the amazing views it has to offer.
Grab a bus into Edinburgh from the main entrance to the Park- into Princess Street and you’re in the Capital City of Edinburgh and all it has to offer or park at the park & ride in Longniddry and get the train into Waverly train station, a mere 15 minute train ride.

About the Area
There's so much to see and do from your base, Number 3 at Seton Sands, it’s the perfect choice for your next escape with the added benefit of a little bit of luxury!Seton Sands Holiday Park boasts an indoor heated swimming pool with flumes & water activities, an arcade, restaurant, fish & chip shop, mini-mart shop, launderette, hire karts, climbing wall and a 9 hole golf course with amazing views over the Firth of Forth, to Fife and beyond.
The trim trail is a lovely walk around the perimeter of the golf course, great for walking your four legged friends or tiring the little one’s out before bed and not needing to worry about traffic etc.
If you purchase Haven’s entertainment passes you have access to kids’ entertainment during the day, evening entertainment in the clubhouse and use of the swimming pool etc.
If you choose not to purchase passes you still have access to the arcades, restaurants, takeaway outlets, supermarket, laundrette, soft play & outdoor play area.
From the lodge you are just a ten minute stroll down to the sandy beaches at Port Seton or there is parking available at the Bents car parking, which is a 2 minute drive, but you have a whole East Coast of beaches to explore as well as many local castles & historic sites, such as the John Muir Walkway. The two car parks have a small charge/pay-display and public toilets/shower block.

There are two train stations, within a 5 minute car ride, Longniddry & Prestonpans that take you in to the capital city of Edinburgh in around 10/15 minutes, or the bus LRT26 departs from the entrance to the park on Princess Street every 30 minutes into Edinburgh.
The local East Lothian area is renowned for its world famous golf courses, golfers will be spoilt for choice, Muirfield Golf Course where the OPEN is held & North Berwick Golf Course right on the coast with amazing views, these are to name just a couple.
For the history buffs/seekers there are an array of castles to explore all within 30 minutes of the park – Edinburgh Castle, Tantallon Castle and Direlton Castle.
For the adrenaline junkies out there, you have Fox Lakes at Dunbar, 30 minutes along the A1 by car, they have so much to do there including water courses, water skiing, tree assault courses and so much more….early booking is a definite must, as its in high demand during peak season.
Ski slope & at Hill End just off city bypass A720, skiing, snowboarding, tubing & Alpine Coasters.
Edinburgh Zoo is also a must for kids of any age, the bus from park goes right past the Zoo & Murrayfield is a 5 minute walk.
