Our luxurious, 4 bedroom, newly renovated detached house situated in the picturesque village of Whitehill in Midlothian, is available for holiday hire & offers fabulous views over the Firth of Forth, Arthur's Seat and Edinburgh Castle.

Whitehill Village is situated 7 miles from the centre of Edinburgh and is a convenient location for exploring the central belt - the borders, Glasgow, Stirling and Perth to name but a few. The property is also located on a direct bus route into Edinburgh.

The town of Dalkeith is a mile down the road, with Tesco, Lidl and Morrison's for groceries, and a McDonalds situated next to Tesco. There are a range of restaurants in Dalkeith too, offering all sorts of cuisine; Gigi's restaurant in Bonnyrigg and The Stair Arms Hotel are recommended.

Fort Kinnaird is 5 miles away, which offers a range of large stores – Primark, M&S, TK Max, Boots, Next, JD Sports, H&M, plus many more.

The House

This is a large, 4 bedroom house that offers fabulous views out over the Firth of Forth, Arthur's Seat and Edinburgh Castle. It benefits from having off street parking for 2 cars, a pretty garden to the front and a large rear garden with patio area, BBQ and summerhouse with bar.

Newly renovated, it boasts a large living room and a huge kitchen diner with bifold doors leading out onto a patio area with table and chairs for al fresco dining. There are two bathrooms (one with a bath and separate waterfall shower) and four bedrooms. Two of the bedrooms are large and boast king sized beds, with the other two being a little smaller, but with double beds. There are steep stairs taking you to the upstairs level.

Bookings & Conditions

Our house is available for holiday hire on a Saturday to Saturday basis, for 7 or 14 night stays.

Maximum of 6 guests.

Sorry, no same sex groups.

There will be a security bond of £100 taken, which will be refunded after the house has been checked following your departure and everything is found in good order, with no loss, damage and/or breakages or the need for an excessive clean.

A £100 deposit will secure your dates, with the balance due 6 weeks before your arrival date. Payment is by bank transfer.

Bedding is provided.

We the owners, stay in the village so are on hand should any problems arise.
