Golden Haze Lodge is our PRIVATE RENTAL lodge situated at Riviera Bay Holiday Park in Brixham, Devon, and offers beautiful uninterrupted sea views.

Our holiday lodge for hire on Riviera Bay Holiday Park, is just a stone's throw from the beautiful coastal path, with stunning walks and views. A walk to the right is St Mary’s Bay Beach. To the left is Berry Head and the delightful Guardhouse Café (with views out to Torbay) for a lovely breakfast before walking on to the charismatic fishing town of Brixham.

Golden Haze is a superior, prestige, lodge, yet practical lodge, which is demonstrated through its layout. It also has full central heating and double glazing throughout.

As you walk in to the lodge you will walk into the living area this spacious, bright, open plan area consists of the kitchen/diner which includes a dishwasher; microwave; integrated fridge/freezer; double oven with grill/ hob and extractor hood; a wine fridge; an island with gas hob, plus three bar stools to enjoy. There is also plenty of cupboard space and storage, with all the dining utensils and necessities you may need. Also in the kitchen area you will find a dining table and chairs with a bi-fold doors to look out to sea with uninterrupted views.

The lounge, which overlooks the kitchen, offers two comfortable sofas and two separate armchairs to cater for all 4 people. A wall-mounted TV is visible enough to be seen from all viewpoints of the open plan area.

From the lounge are bi-fold doors leading out to the large decking, complete with table and chairs to enjoy the blissful view out to St Mary’s Bay and Sharkham Point; the perfect setting for family meals in the summer. With such wonderful views stretching across the sea, you’ll never want to leave!

Off the open plan area are 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The first bedroom has a superior king size bed, TV, 2 bedside tables and a triple mirrored, built-in wardrobe. The second bedroom is the master, which benefits from a fair-size dressing room area as you walk into the bedroom with a vanity area to get ready and plenty of storage. This can be closed off from the bedroom. The master also offers a king size bed with superior mattress, TV and 2 bedside tables, along with a walk-in wardrobe that leads through to the vast en-suite. Here you will find a large walk-in shower, wash basin and toilet, along with ample storage for all your necessities. In addition to the en-suite there is the main family bathroom that has a substantial sized shower, a bath, toilet and sink area, plus storage and overhead lighting.

Our stunning Lodge has all modern fixtures and fittings to give a light, bright and spacious feel. It also comes with 2 adjacent parking spaces.
There is free unlimited wifi through out the lodge

Golden Haze is on the bottom park, which is all flat with no hill to walk up to get to the lodge.
With all bookings we require a £100 security bond once the lodge has been checked we will refund the bond within 48 hours.

Location

Riviera Bay Holiday Park is located in the coastal fishing town of Brixham in Devon.

The Bay at Riviera has recently gone through a complete refurbishment, so there are currently no facilities on site. However, whilst staying at Golden Haze Lodge you are able to use the limited facilities on our sister park Landscove, which is around a 10-15 minute walk, which you can do along the coastal path, or 5 minute drive.

Landscove facilities this season will only include an outdoor pool with a cover over and a bar.

Right outside the park entrance there is the number 20 bus, which will take you down into Brixham town. From there you can get the number 12 bus which can take you around Torbay.


Directly in front of the lodge there is a gate that takes you directly onto the coastal path where, if you go left, will take you all along the coast to Berry head where you will find the Guardhouse Cafe which is tremendous and the 360 views across the bay is something you don't want to miss. If you take a right, the coastal path will take you along the front of the lodges down to St Mary’s Beach. This is a nice sandy beach and perfect for a family day out.


If you fancy taking the short 10 minute walk into Brixham town you will find many lovely restaurants and cafes, for everyone's taste, with most of them looking over the picturesque harbour.

Breakwater pebbled beach is also a firm favourite where you can enjoy a refreshing drink from the cafe and take a nice walk to the lighthouse, which offers the most stunning views of the bay.

Shoalstone seawater pool is a firm favourite for children, so if you're looking for an enjoyable family day out on a nice hot day, this has got to be on your list.


If you fancy travelling further, a 30 minute ferry ride across the bay are Paignton and Torquay. Or if you do fancy taking a passenger ferry, you can travel round the bay to the beautiful Dartmouth, which is a must see!

There are also plenty of activities for children in the area, including Splashdown Water Park in Goodrington; mini golf in Paignton and Torquay; Woodlands Theme Park in Totnes; and Creally in Exmouth. All of these activities are well worth a venture to.
