Lodge Description
Our spacious and modern lodge for hire at Haven's Lakeland Leisure Park in Flookburgh has three bedrooms and sleeps six guests comfortably.
This luxury lodge is offered fully equipped with everything you will need to make your holiday a real ‘home from home’ experience.
The kitchen has everything you would expect, including worktop space, a 5 burner gas hob, fully integrated double oven, dishwasher, washing machine and microwave. We have also added an ice machine for those hot, sunny days.
The lounge is spacious and bright with full glass, front sliding doors leading to a large decking area which looks out to stunning, uninterrupted views. It is fully equipped with a 50” Smart TV, providing access to Netflix, Prime and much more. We also have an Xbox in the lounge and full internet access.
The outdoor decking area has a large corner sofa and table for al-fresco dining, along with two reclining chairs should you just wish to relax and enjoy the sunshine from morning to night.
The master bedroom has a king size bed and dressing area, as well as an en-suite shower room, which is fantastic for larger families.
The lodge is also fully central heated with Hive fitted, ensuring perfect temperature control throughout the lodge.

About the Area
Haven’s Lakeland Leisure Park sits in Flookburgh, Cumbria, on the edge of Morecambe Bay with sweeping coastal views and the fells of the Lake District National Park rising behind. The park itself is set on a former WW2 airfield, giving it a naturally flat and spacious layout, now centred around a beautiful activity lake that creates a stunning backdrop for the accommodation areas.
The park holds AA 5 Star Holiday Park status and offers a wide range of on-site facilities. Guests can enjoy indoor and outdoor heated swimming pools, an on-site water sports centre with kayaking, canoeing, paddle boarding, and pedalos, a 9-hole golf course, and the Marina Lounge entertainment venue. A brand-new J D Wetherspoon pub has recently opened on the park, alongside a Burger King and modern catering options.
The lodge is perfectly positioned for exploring the Lake District National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site established in 1951 and covering a huge area of Cumbria. Lake Windermere, the most famous of the region’s 16 lakes, is just 30 minutes away by car, offering boat cruises, lakeside walks, and the charming towns of Bowness and Ambleside.
The Lakeside & Haverthwaite Railway, a heritage steam line, runs nearby with trips to Bowness and Ambleside, plus a tearoom, playground, and picnic area. For family days out, the Lakes Aquarium on the shores of Lake Windermere provides an educational underwater adventure.
The local area is a foodie’s paradise. The village of Cartmel, just a few miles away, is famous for its sticky toffee pudding, while the wider region offers locally made cheese, potted shrimp, and artisan bakers. The South Lakes is also home to Muncaster Castle, with its beautiful gardens and spectacular Hawk & Owl Centre flying displays.
