'Esme’s Escape ' formerly known as Otters Lodge is our ABI Beaumont Signature, single lodge for hire on Haven Lakeland Leisure Park in the Lake District, situated on the picturesque Guddlebeck, boasting a lovely view of Otters Lake.

We are lucky enough to enjoy the added bonus of there being no other properties behind our lodge which ensures additional privacy (many on site do not have this benefit).

We are dog friendly for well behaved dogs and responsible owners. We too are dog owners and understand that your beloved dog is a family member and part of creating those fabulous holiday memories so please contact us so we can pre approve your stay.

Our lodge for hire on Lakeland Leisure Park, is located in a much sought after position, in a quieter, more relaxing part of the site, surrounded by natural coastal gardens and easy access to the coastal path a few yards away. Wildlife in the form of rabbits, ducks and swans are frequent visitors, which the children who stay love to see.

The property itself is a spacious 42’ x 14’ and classed as a single lodge, which has been manufactured to residential specification with double glazed windows and central heating radiators in all rooms.

The lodge has FREE Wi-Fi throughout.

Inside you will find a fully equipped fitted kitchen containing a large fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, 4 burner hob with central wok burner, oven, microwave, toaster, kettle and a Tassimo coffee machine for your added pleasure. There’s also a large butler’s pantry. The dining area is spacious enough to contain a large table and chairs to enjoy your meal times together.

Our lounge is large enough to host two chesterfield styled sofas( one is a sofa bed) , which comfortably provides enough seating for all of your family. A 43” Smart TV is positioned above a modern fireplace with electric powered fire should you need that quick blast of warmth after a long walk. We also have an integrated Bluetooth music system with built-in ceiling speakers for radio and music of your own choice.

All bed linen for a maximum of eight people is provided in our three comfortable bedrooms, all of which are fully fitted with built-in wardrobes, drawers and power sockets. The two smaller bedrooms are twins (one with full size beds and large TV).
The master bedroom is large and contains a king size bed, built-in dressing table, wardrobes and drawers including an hairdryer and 43” TV.

The en-suite for the master bedroom contains a toilet, fully fitted basin and shower. The additional family bathroom also contains a toilet, fully fitted basin, shaver points and shower. Sorry but we don’t provide personal towels, so please remember to bring them with you.

The lodge benefits from having an elevated wraparound decking with a sunny south westerly aspect as well as views of the lake and surrounding countryside. You can relax in the sun with that cool drink using the full range of rattan style patio furniture, which comprises of two settees, two chairs , two coffee tables and a drinks table. In addition, we have two chairs and a coffee table on the decking at the west side of the lodge to grab that extra sunlight if needed.

We also have a large sunny picnic area with large wooden table next to our garden area for further outdoor relaxation.

Bookings & Conditions

No Groups allowed.

Charging of electric vehicles is prohibited at the lodge (charging points can be found on site).

Stays of 7 nights, 4 nights (Mon-Fri) and 3 nights (Fri-Mon) are offered as standard. 2 night weekend stays may also be available.

A £100 deposit secures your dates. The final balance must be paid 6 weeks before your arrival date.

A £100 refundable insurance bond is required with the final balance.

Full Terms and Conditions will be provided upon booking.

Please Note: We do not provide Play Passes. They must be purchased online via Haven, which will allow you to access all the facilities.

Passes are not required for the bar/restaurant, mini-market or takeaway outlets
