Our cosy and welcoming holiday home is part of Bellbrook Valley Trout Fishery, which is one of the prettiest fisheries in the country and is abundant with wildlife. It is a nature lovers paradise with abundant wildlife, rare flowers, dragonflies and kingfishers. As we are in a designated dark sky area the night sky is also a beauty to behold. We hope all our guests will this special place as much as we do and enjoy relaxing in, and exploring the fishery. Bellbrook Annex itself combines comfort and style and is the best of both worlds - you can spend your days soaking up the soothing peace and tranquility of the fishery or explore the many local tourist hot spots - all within an easy drive - knowing you'll return to a heartwarming and welcoming holiday home.

We would like to reassure guests that we have increased our already 5* cleaning routine to include disinfecting all bed linen , towels and surfaces. Self check in and out is now contactless.

Once inside the accommodation is mainly on one level and boasts a modern and stylish open plan living, dining and well equipped kitchen area. There are two generous bedrooms - the master has a superking sized bed and the second bedroom has 2 twin beds. The living area has cosy sofas for snuggling up, Sky TV and internet access. It is perfect for families, couples and those with a four legged friend or two; dogs, cats and horses are all welcome!

Guests with a baby or toddler are most welcome too! We can provide a high chair and there's ample room for a travel cot in the bedroom.

The annex has its own entrance and is attached to our family farm house which is set down a quiet country lane. You have a large, private and enclosed garden where you can enjoy several areas of decking for al fresco dining, relaxing with a drink or sunbathing. There is also a cosy patio area.

It is one of several holiday properties (the others are secreted away within the fishery's 40 acres and sleep up to 6). We aim to be as eco-friendly as possible and most of the electricity and heating are provided by solar panels and a biomass boiler.

Booking-payment by Credit and debit card, PayPal, bank transfer or cheque. Full payment is required at time of booking and is non refundable up to 30 days before arrival.

About the Area

Here on the farm we breed our own rare breed sheep and at the right time of year our fields are full of lambs.

There are many beautiful walks right on our doorstep and of course there are the grounds of the fishery to explore. Bellbrook is also an ideal base for walking, riding and cycling or for trying your hand at fly fishing - more details can be found on our website.

Nearby Bampton (10 minutes away) has shops, a post office and welcoming pubs with local ales and good food. There are also two excellent restaurants nearby and more shops and supermarkets can be found in Tiverton, which is a 15 minute drive – there is also a regular pannier market with tempting local produce. We are close to the historic market town of Dulverton which is known as the gateway to Exmoor National Park and is a must for the cream teas!

For days out there is plenty to do within a 30 minute drive, such as two National Trust properties, Wimbleball Lake (water sports), Quince Honey Farm, Exmoor Pony Centre (combine this with a visit to Dulverton) and Tiverton where you will find a museum and castle, as well as two very nice parks if you're coming with children.

If you don't mind travelling for 45 minutes you'll get to the beach or Lynton & Lynmouth.

We are easily accessed from the A361 - the M5 is only 15 minutes away.
