Caravan Description

This is our double glazed and central heated, three bedroom, 8 berth mobile home for hire with its own small garden and decking on our small, private farm on the edge of Exmoor, Devon.

In the living area there is comfortable seating with plenty of room, dinning table and seating, TV, DVD player, an electric fire and a small pull out double bed.

It has a fully equipped kitchen with cooker, kettle, toaster, microwave, iron, ironing board and small fridge with small freezer compartment in the top.

The three bedrooms comprise of a double bedroom with under bed storage and two twin bedrooms. Both twin beds can be pushed together to make doubles. There is a hairdryer available in the double room.

There are two separate toilets, one a with wash basin and shower and the other with just a wash basin.

We have a travel cot and highchair available upon request.

It has its own small garden with decking area, picnic bench, charcoal barbecue and rotary clothes line overlooking the fields. Charcoal not supplied.

Gas, electric and linen are all included in the price. Wi-fi is also available but can sometimes be a little temperamental due to the rural location.

Location

We are set between the beautiful, rugged moors and North Devon's sandy beaches.

Woolacombe, Putsborough, Croyde and Saunton are all a 30 to 40 minute drive away depending on holiday traffic.

Combe Martin is only 5 miles away and a wonderful place for crabbing on a cloudy day, hiring a kayak/canoe or visit Combe Martin Dinosaur Park, to see the famous wolf family that live there, perfect for the family to enjoy.

We are 10 minutes away from Exmoor Zoo, the home of the Exmoor beast, well worth a visit for all ages.

Railway enthusiasts will love a visit to Woody Bay Station to see the small steam engines and to hear how they plan to re-open parts of the Lynton to Barnstaple railway line which is only 4 miles away.

Approx. 9 miles away is Barnstaple, which is the main shopping area and bicycle hire shops, to ride the Tarka Trail to Bideford or Braunton.

We have lots of activities nearby and if the weather is kind some of the most amazing beaches.

The Old Station Inn is 1 mile up the road and serves good pub grub or The Black Venis at Challacombe is 10 minutes away and serves beautiful food with locally sourced produce both are well worth a visit.
