Bellbrook is a beautiful, eco-friendly fishery and farm, with over 40 acres and 7 lakes.

Our static holiday caravan in rural Devon is ideal for those wanting a truly relaxing holiday whilst being near lots of tourist attractions and Exmoor. Relax and enjoy a BBQ or glass of wine, watch the wildlife and star gaze.

Bellbrook is one of the prettiest trout fisheries in the country and The Owlet overlooks one of our seven lakes and is the perfect space for enjoying a glass of wine whilst watching the sun set in the valley. It is hidden away and therefore very private and beautifully rural; an absolute haven of peace and tranquillity. We hope that all our guests will enjoy this restful environment and the extensive grounds.

The Owlet

The Owlet is a bright, spacious and welcoming static holiday caravan with a lovely log burner (all wood is included) and lots of storage space throughout.

There is a well-equipped galley kitchen and a flexible living area, which has plenty of comfy seating, a folding table and pull-out sofa bed.

There’s also one double bedroom and one twin bedroom, along with a bathroom with shower.

Access to this hidden gem is via a farm track (a bit bumpy, but part of the adventure) or by parking in the fishery car park and walking the scenic 5 minutes.

Horses, dogs and children are most welcome. There is a £25 fee for up to 2 dogs.

**Please Note** The decking is raised and not entirely fenced and the lakes are deep and unfenced.

The Owlet is one of two holiday properties at Bellbrook Valley Fishery (the other is ‘Otter’s Holt’, a semi-detached ground floor cottage attached to the owner’s farmhouse – please see C2190 on this website) and forms part of a working Trout Fishery and small holding covering 40 acres.

Bellbrook Farm & Bellbrook Valley Fishery

Here on the farm we breed our own rare breed sheep and at lambing time of year our fields are full of lambs. We have a pair of pet pygmy goats who love a cuddle, some very free range chickens and horses (who also like carrots and apples).

We also sell our own highest welfare produce: chicken, lamb, eggs and smoked trout and patés. We can also arrange a local vegetable and fruit box, as well as plastic free milk for your arrival (3 days notice needed).

There are many beautiful walks right on our doorstep and of course there are the grounds of the fishery to explore. Bellbrook is also an ideal base for walking, riding, cycling or trying your hand at fly fishing. The local pub is a scenic 1.5 mile walk away and serves excellent food.

Out & About

For days out there is plenty to do within a 30 minute drive, such as two National Trust properties, Devon Railway Centre, Bickleigh Mill, Quince Honey Farm and Exmoor Pony Centre (combine this with a visit to Dulverton for cream tea). There’s also Tiverton, which has a canal with a café, a horse drawn barge, a museum and castle as well as two very nice parks if you're coming with children.

In addition, there is an excellent riding stables nearby that takes riders along Exmoor.

If you don't mind travelling for 45 minutes you'll get to the beach or Lynton and Lynmouth.
