Caravan Description
PLEASE NOTE THAT CHARGING OF ELECTRIC CARS IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE RENTAL OF OUR HOME.
WE UNDERSTAND THERE IS A CHARGING POINT AT THE GARLIC FARM PO36 0NR WHICH IS APPROXIMATELY 6 MILES FROM THE PARK.
Our caravan for hire can easily sleep up to 6 people in 2 bedrooms and by use of a double pull-out double bed in the lounge. The main bedroom has a king-size bed and is very spacious. It has two full-size wardrobes on either side of the bed, a dressing table with a mirror and various additional cupboards, plus a hairdryer, flat-screen TV/DVD player, and an electric heater. The twin bedroom has two full-size single beds, designed to come together to make a double if preferred.
Duvets and pillows are provided, but bed linen and towels are not. However, linen service is available at £15 weekly.
The living area is spacious and open plan and incorporates the lounge, diner, and kitchen. Within the lounge you will find a gas fire, an additional free-standing electric radiator if required, very comfortable wraparound seating, and a 32” flat-screen TV. The kitchen is fully equipped with crockery, cookware, utensils, a cooker, microwave, full-size fridge, and tabletop freezer, also a halogen oven. There is also a very handy spin dryer.
A hall (with coat hanging space) leads to the two bedrooms. Off the hall, as well as the bedrooms, is the shower room which comprises an electric shower, washbasin, WC, and bathroom cabinet.
The electric and gas are piped in, so no fear that gas bottles will need to be changed. These utilities are included in the rental.

Lower Hyde Park in Shanklin on the beautiful Isle of Wight offers many park facilities, which include indoor/outdoor heated pools (May – September); a games room; playgrounds; football and basketball court; bike hire; launderette; bar/restaurant, and a convenience store, all on-site.
Entertainment passes can be supplied at a reduced rate to the Park's price for each full week. The passes allow access to Lower Hyde Park and her sister Park, Languard, which is virtually next door and accessible from Lower Hyde Park.

About the Area
Three major supermarkets (Aldi, Lidl and Morrisons) are within walking distance of the Park or a five minute drive. There is also a Co-op store within walking distance in the other direction.The town of Shanklin is also within walking distance and is a busy, thriving place. There is ample parking and a good variety of stores, both national and independent ones. The beautiful Shanklin beach is also only a 10 minute walk away, which is dog friendly. There are numerous eateries and cafes, restaurants in Shanklin for dining.
