Our lodge for sale on Ladram Bay Holiday Park, Otters Den, is one of the 5 star luxury lodges at Portland View, Ladram Bay. It is in a prime position, nestled in beautiful Devon countryside with stunning panoramic views across Ladram Bay.
This 42ft x 13ft, two bedroom lodge is the top model from ABI and comes with a lot of goodies. It accommodates 4-6 guests, has gas central heating and is fully double glazed.
In the lounge there is a three-seat leather sofa with a pull-out bed and poppy patterned curtains, along with a 55" Smart LED flat screen TV, which is Wi-Fi ready. There is also the same, but 42" in the twin bedroom. We are the only lodge providing a private satellite service at Ladram Bay. The Wi-Fi is a direct connection only to Otters Den, with up to 22Mb for best speeds, which is available for laptops and smart phones, etc.
Move across to the dining area and you will find brown upholstered dining room chairs and low breakfast bar with power socks and USB charging points.
In the kitchen there are integrated appliances, including an oven with grill, microwave, dishwasher and fridge freezer, plus a separate utility room for the washing machine.
The skylights design offers excellent energy performance.
There is a large shower room with a shower head incorporating a thermostatic mixer valve, a wash basin and mirror, low level toilet and a cupboard for storage.
The twin bedroom is opposite the shower room and is furnished with twin beds and a mirror door wardrobe with two drawers in its base.
The main bedroom you will find at the end of the lodge, which is furnished with a king size bed, large mirror door wardrobe and a dressing table with chair and mirror. Adjoining the bedroom is an en-suite with wash basin, low level toilet and a shower.
The lodge's slide doors lead to the large decking area where you can enjoy the panoramic views across the bay whilst relaxing and dining on the outdoor furniture.
We both love our lodge and have spent a lot of time making it our holiday home. Unfortunately however, due to health issues, we have decided to sell our lodge.
Our lodge still has a 15 year lease.
The Portland View opens for 10 months of the year.
We are able to cover the pitch fee by our rental income. We are happy to guide our new owner how to run the sub-letting service if they want to carry on to let it out to cover the running cost.

Ladram Bay is a Five Star Holiday Park with its own shingle beach and has been awarded the Diamond Award for Devon, Somerset and Dorset by Hoseasons Holidays. It also won a Silver Award by the Devon Tourism Awards 2015. It provides high quality facilities and accommodation.
There is a full programme of entertainment every day in the Waves Bar and in Ollie’s Den with a friendly Green Coats team to keep you smiling.
On site facilities include: a well-stocked and competitively priced shop and food outlets, as well as the Pebbles Restaurant and Bar; a new indoor leisure complex with a 22m indoor heated swimming pool, plus an indoor heated children’s pool with slides, a sauna, steam room, Jacuzzi, gym (age restrictions apply in some areas); an amusements arcade; a new indoor climbing wall; indoor soft play area; children's play area and a dinosaur themed crazy golf; a beach café with boat/kayak/peddle boards for hire.
There is also cooked lobster for sale in the fisherman hut; you may hear from the local news that a very rare blue lobster was caught in Ladram Bay.
If you like walking, there are fantastic coastal walks into Budliegh Salterton in one direction or Sidmouth in the other.
Ladram Bay is also only a few minutes’ drive from Crealy Adventure Park and Bicton Park. The Cathedral City of Exeter is worth a visit too and, of course, the wonderful sights of Dartmoor National Park.
