Our pet friendly ABI Sunningdale is a perfect static caravan for a cosy getaway. Located within the grounds of Beachwalk Apartments it has its own parking bay in front and is centrally heated and double glazed.

Our caravan is located on private land, next to the Primrose Valley Holiday Park. It is on top of the cliff with sea views and next to the slope to the beach, just a 3 minute walk and you can have sand on your feet.

We have a very large balcony which is in the sun all day and evening.

The master bedroom has a king size bed and en-suite bathroom. The 2nd bedroom is a twin, and the beds can be pushed together to make a double.

The caravan has all the mod cons you need to enjoy your holiday. The kitchen is fully equipped with oven, microwave, kettle, and toaster.

Location

We are not part of the Primrose Valley Holiday Park so you cannot get passes for the site although you can use some of the facilities, such as the Wetherspoons pub, Lakehouse restaurant, the various parks and play areas and the fairground.

With its sweeping stretch of golden sand, Filey is one of the most popular holiday destinations on the Yorkshire coast. From sunbathing to birdwatching, there is something to keep every member of the family entertained.

Filey Brigg is a designated site of Special Scientific Interest because of its geological significance and is home to a diverse range of wildlife. In early spring, if you are lucky, you might even catch sight of a seal or two. The beach itself is perfect for walking, sandcastle building, flying a kite, or – for braver holiday makers – taking a paddle.

Among the picturesque Edwardian architecture of Filey town, you’ll find plenty to keep you intrigued. There are quirky shops, Filey museum, whose building dates back to 1696, the 12th century parish church of St Oswald’s, and a plethora of art galleries, cafes, and amusement arcades.

And no trip to Filey is complete without a stroll along Filey’s Roman slipway, Coble Landing, with its jumble of boats and kiosks where you can enjoy the scenery with a good Yorkshire tea.

Explore the Yorkshire Coast

Beyond Filey, the rugged and beautiful Yorkshire coastline has lots to explore. Whitby and its imposing medieval abbey are only a short drive away, as are Scarborough, Bridlington and Robin Hood’s Bay, all popular seaside resorts. The coast is a haven for wildlife, and Filey is only a stone’s throw away from one of the RSPB’s best-loved sites: Bempton at Flamborough Head, which boasts gannet, puffins, razorbills, guillemots and other seabirds.
