Caravan Description
Our rural holiday caravan for hire is set in a unique location on a working sheep farm, just one mile out of the picturesque town of Llangollen. Tan Y Graig Farm is situated at the foot of a mountain range that is famous for its mountain bike tracks having hosted many National level races over the last 10 years.
This Llangollen holiday caravan measures 38’ x 12’ so there is ample room for all. It also offers everything you would ever need and more.
The three bedrooms comprise one double and two twin bedded rooms. It also has two bathrooms, one with a shower.
Every room has electric heating, in addition to a main gas fire in the living room. Sky TV and all the important utilities are included for a lovely and relaxing week away from it all.
Alongside the caravan is a camping pod, again with electric heating. To allow for social distancing for this year the pod will not be let separately to the caravan, but can provide added accommodation for a larger family or as an escape for teenagers.
The caravan will sleep six people and the pod four comfortably.
Location
The town of Llangollen is located on the A5, 12 miles from Wrexham and 10 miles from Oswestry, giving us excellent connections from both the north and south. Llangollen is a famous tourist town which normally welcomes thousands of visitors one week of the year to our world famous ‘International Musical Eisteddfod’. Other attractions include Llangollen railway, horse drawn canal boats, Plas Newydd, Dinas Bran Castle, Chirk Castle and Thomas Telford's world famous Pontcysyllte Aqueduct, plus many more idyllic locations.
Tan Y Graig farm is situated at the foot of a mountain range that is famous for its mountain bike tracks having hosted many National level races over the last ten years. It's all private and all part of the farm so has a wealth of walks if mountain biking sounds a bit much for you. The area has many other mountain bike or walking trails if you fancy venturing further afield. We have secure bike storage on the farm to keep any valuables if necessary.
Tan Y Graig is still a working farm so expect sheep nearby, carefully managed by Sian the sheepdog and Coco the miniature Shetland pony, who's best friend is Penelope the Chihuahua.
