Caravan Description
Our caravan is sited on the lower perimeter of Barmouth Bay Holiday Park, overlooking the river and less than a one minute walk from the riverside and beach.
It has fantastic views over the river and the beautiful, picturesque Lynn Peninsula and beyond from a private pitch on a lovely part of the park where you can simply relax and enjoy peace and quiet on your family holiday. You can while away the hours and in the evening enjoy some spectacular sunsets over the sea and the Peninsula.

Our holiday home has three bedrooms; one double and two twin. Each bedroom has a wardrobe for clothing storage and an electric panel heater for the cooler nights.
The lounge has a flat screen 37" quality full HD colour TV with Freeview and DVD player, plus lamps and a gas fire. There is also a pull-out sofa bed in the lounge should it be needed for larger families.
The dining area has a table with 6 chairs and sits nicely between the kitchen and the lounge areas.
As well as the main toilet/shower room, there is a separate toilet with wash basin. This isn't en-suite, but is brilliant for those times when someone is in the shower and the toilet is needed.
The caravan comes fully equipped with all the usual modern conveniences you should need so your stay away from home can be as easy as possible. The kitchen has a gas hob and oven, built-in refrigerator with freezer box, a microwave, toaster and kettle.
Whilst there are pillows and duvets at the caravan, for your own peace of mind and personal hygiene you may wish to take your own from home to use. However, no bed linen, towels (hand, bath, beach and tea towels) or toiletries are included, so you will need to bring these with you.
We ask that you leave the caravan clean and tidy and in the condition you found it. We also require a bond of £75 on top of the charge of the caravan, this will be returned to you once the van has been inspected upon your departure, this is something that we have never done before but due to one booking this is now standard, The bond will not be returned should the van be left uncleaned and any breakages or damages occur during your stay.
Check in time is 4pm and check out is by 10am on day of departure. There can be no amendment to these times under any circumstances and keys will not be available until 4pm on your day of arrival.

About the Area
Tal-Y-Bont is situated between the harbour town of Barmouth, with its array of shops, restaurants, cafes and bars, and the historic town of Harlech, which is home to the castle and Royal St David's Golf Course.Slightly further afield you will find Porthmadog and the popular tourist village of Portmeirion, whilst Caernarfon and the island of Anglesey are within an hour's drive.
Barmouth Bay Holiday Park offers many facilities for an enjoyable holiday.
Site facilities requiring membership passes include the indoor pool. However, this is included in the cost of the caravan hire, but please note - £10 will be deducted from security deposit if the pass is lost.
Site facilities available for your use include the launderette, which has washers, driers and ironing facilities. This is situated next to the children's play area, which includes a fenced enclosure for 5-a-side football, cricket and basketball, as well as a separate play area next to it for younger children. This play area includes slides, swings and a climbing frame. Perfectly situated for you to watch the children play while you laundry is being done.
Barmouth Bay Holiday Park also provides direct access to the beach.
Next door to Barmouth Bay is The Sands Leisure Complex, which is owned and managed by the same family that originally built it many, many years ago; their priority is your family entertainment and safety. On the complex, you will find a supermarket for all your essentials, a fish and chip shop serving excellent food to take away or eat on the benches provided outside, a club/bar and amusements arcade.
Local amenities include the beach, scenic walks, golf course (St. David's and Harlech), amusements, pubs and clubs, takeaway, fishing and many historical attractions and sights, as well as browsing and shopping in the old harbour town of Barmouth.
