Our pet friendly caravan holiday let on Pevensey Bay Holiday Park, is like a real home from home, with secure decking and fully equipped with TV and Wi-Fi.

We also provide a travel cot and highchair for younger children.

The caravan is very comfortable and is well liked and enjoyed by not only us as a family, but our previous guests, who have enjoyed the freedom of being able to be far enough away from the amenities on Pevensey Bay Holiday Park, yet close enough to enjoy them.

Our caravan is also just a short walk from the beach and benefits from having very nice neighbours nearby.

The outside space is wide enough and safe enough for young children to be left unattended while you are preparing food, and it is safe enough for your fur babies to be off leash and enjoy the freedom of chilling anywhere on the decking area. We also have a full complement of outside furniture (sofa, chairs, coffee table and a bistro set) to accommodate 4 people.

Within the caravan we have two bedrooms. The master bedroom has a double bed, lovely built-in wardrobes and overbed cupboards to store your holiday suitcases etc. The twin bedroom has nice size twin beds and a wardrobe. The master bedroom also benefits from having direct access to the main bathroom, which has a second door from the main corridor, allowing family access during the day to the shower. There is also a second WC.

All the beds have duvets and pillows, including the sofa bed in the lounge.

The ambience is very peaceful and friendly and all our neighbours are friendly and helpful.

Dogs are welcome.

The area around the caravan is quiet most of the time; there is an all-weather court just across from the caravan which is used occasionally by groups of families and children during high season.

The sunsets I have experienced on the decking in the evening on the whole, have been spectacular and the evening birdsong is very soothing.

We have enjoyed many lovely holidays at our caravan on Pevensey Bay Holiday Park, and we would like to share with you too the joy of walking along the beach and river, or park walks with your family too.

Location

Pevensey Bay Holiday Park offers a wide range of entertainment and an indoor pool; a safe children's area and café; also a new shop to buy your essentials, although Asda, Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Lidl and Aldi are not too far away if you prefer.

Pevensey Bay Holiday Park is popular with all age groups and dogs. For dogs there is a small area at the front of the park, which has the reputation for being great for rabbit and fox viewings. Our dogs enjoy going to this place to run free off lead (it is the only place they are allowed to be off lead other than on the beach).

Entertainment passes are not included in our rental price, but can be purchased from the reception to suit your own needs.

Locally in Pevensey Bay itself, there are some great takeaways and pubs which have hot meals and are pet friendly. The Ocean is also a bakery and is dog friendly too. They do breakfast, lunch and tea menus for all the family, providing well cooked food - we would highly recommend you visit them. There is also a launderette that offers service washes.

In Pevensey itself there is the old castle and tea rooms, along with some dog friendly pubs.

Eastbourne is a short journey from Pevensey Bay Holiday Park, where you will find a wide range of entertainment and eateries, as well as a good shopping centre.

At the Shopping Mall, just a few minutes down the road going into Eastbourne, you’ll find a wide range of shops and eateries, especially at South Harbour with its coffee shops and restaurants, plus the marina with loads of boats to see.

Hampden Park and Shinewater Parks are not far away, up in Langley, which is about 3 minutes away by car. These are great places to take the dogs and children to let off steam.

There is also the Sovereign Centre, which offers a wide range of sporting activities and a coffee shop.

Princes Park, just a few minutes away from the holiday park, also hosts a wide range of activities during the summer months, from carnivals to music and beer festivals.

For the more adventurous there is a guy who gives kayak lesson and windsurfing lessons on the prom at Eastbourne.
The theatres and tennis club in Eastbourne always have a lot to offer. There’s a library theater too. You can come to see for yourself and enjoy a great place to stay and plan your holiday adventures.

Along the beach is an Aquabar, which is very friendly and the local residents use it so you could get to know what is going on locally too. The beach has some pretty back gardens to view and the walk along from the holiday park to Pevensey is not too far. You can walk to Asda as well from the holiday park beachside.
