About the Area
Situated in the midst of the stunning scenery of the Cote d’Azur, our privately owned mobile home at Pachacaid Holiday Village provide the ideal setting for a great holiday.
Nearby is the world renowned resort of St Tropez, with its beautiful beaches, and the picturesque hilltop villages of Gassin, Grimaud and Ramatuelle.
Pachacaid Holiday Village is set on terraces on the side of a deep wooded valley in the rugged and beautiful Massif des Maures. It is one of the most luxurious and best equipped sites on the Cote d’Azur, and only a short distance away from the beaches of St Tropez and Rayol.
Facilities on Pachacaid include:
A self-service shop, open daily. Le Pachacafe bistro, which is open for lunches, dinners and entertainment during the evening and there is also the Aquableu poolside bistro. A disco for night birds which, as well as being soundproofed, is built underground to protect the peace and quiet of non-dancers. Tennis courts. Children's playground.
An integral part of the holiday village is the Niagara Nautical Park which has a superb swimming pool, 7 giant water chutes, a paddling pool for youngsters, and a whirlpool bath. The swimming pool is open from May until September daily. Residents of Pachacaid enjoy preferential entrance fees and free use of the swimming pool, with the added assurance of lifeguards on duty at all times.
Our mobile home is on the upper levels so you can enjoy the water sports but still have tranquillity away from the pool.
Local Area
There are plenty of activities off site too. If you like walking, and especially if you like walking and photography, the beautiful scenery of the Massif des Maures is all around you. There are many footpaths, some over the hills and some along the coast, all with interesting features and stunning views.
If you like wine you are in an excellent location. All through the Valley of the Mole and in the surrounding countryside there are vineyards everywhere. At most of them 'degustation' ( wine tasting ) is encouraged. The local wine, reds, whites and of course, rosés, are excellent and there are several vineyards within easy reach of Pachacaid plus the Co-operatives at Cogolin and Grimaud.
If you enjoy eating out there are some excellent restaurants in the area, some of them in stunning locations.
There are plenty of fascinating places to visit. Each day there is a market not far away - why not combine it with a beach trip or a visit to an old village for lunch. There are many pretty villages that are well worth a visit like Gassin, Grimaud, Cogolin, Ramatuelle and of course St Tropez where you can have breakfast in one of the waterside restaurants whist watching the rich and sometimes famous playing on their boats.
Also close by is Port Grimaud with its picturesque canals and waterside restaurants.
Further afield you could visit the Gorge du Verdon which is stunning. The drive there takes about 2 hours, but it is an interesting journey. The lake of St Croix is turquoise blue and you can take a canoe or a pedalo up into the gorge itself.
