Caravan Description

Turn into the first parking space on your right and you will be around 6’ from the steps of the caravan's large, gated veranda. If you have a young family, the veranda gate can be secured to prevent toddlers "escaping".

You will walk inside into a kitchen and spacious lounge/dining area, complete with TV, DVD player and Wi-Fi !!

The kitchen is equipped with all you need for a comfortable stay, including a microwave, toaster and fridge freezer.

A door from the kitchen leads to a corridor, from which is the shower room, WC and 3 comfortable bedrooms (one double and two twin). All bedrooms have USB sockets to charge those important electrical devices.

When you arrive at our caravan on Butlin’s Resort Minehead, the beds will have been freshly made up and there will be further bed linen available for the pull-out double bed in the lounge if needed.

All rooms and corridors in the caravan are equipped with central heating radiators, mostly with thermostatic valves. If you're on a break in the winter this caravan provides a spacious, cosy and comfortable base.

Your caravan rental will include all Butlin’s entertainment passes, which will allow you full access to everything available on the site - except the pre-booking of shows. However, the entertainment venues are huge and we have never been advised of any disappointed guests.

For those new to Butlin’s, the facilities include an indoor fun pool, multiple live shows, traditional funfair, crazy golf, archery, go karts, fun bikes, bowling, pool tables and a host of other activities, as well as bars and a selection of different places to eat.

If you find the time to go outside the Resort, Minehead boasts a beautiful sandy beach and a traditional seaside town centre, well-equipped with bars, eateries and a large children's playground at the Hairy Dog pub.

Anybody self-catering will be spoilt for choice, with 3 major supermarket chains on the road into the Resort, a Co-op in the town centre and 2 smaller supermarkets on the site. Also on site is a launderette.

Minehead is well situated as a base for trips onto Exmoor. Porlock, Porlock Weir and Porlock Hill are all within an easy drive further along the A39 from Minehead. Further along will take you over Exmoor to Lynmouth and Lynton, with its 800ft water powered cliff railway, unique in the world and over 100 years old. If you decide to drive through Lynton for half a mile you will arrive at the Valley of the Rocks. Look closely on all the cliffs and hills, it's home to a flock of rare breed goats.

This is a beautiful part of the world, well worth exploring.

IMPORTANT PRICING INFORMATION

A REFUNDABLE security bond of £50 for family breaks and £100 - £200 for adult breaks will be charged in addition to the rental price

All bookings will require a £75 non refundable holding deposit. The balance, including the security bond, is payable 8 weeks before you go.
