Caravan Description

Our lovely holiday home on Butlin’s Resort Minehead, offers you everything you need to make those special holiday memories.

Sit out at the table and chairs provided and enjoy evenings on the lovely decking area, which has a gate to ensure your children are kept safe.

There is a parking space at the front of Ocean Cove, which is in clear sight of the holiday home.

FREE PASSES – passes are included in our hire price for all guests. We limit the number of guests staying to 6. Please note however, that there is an additional charge for Shiiine, Darts, Fat Boy Slim and Cream, so please contact us if you are looking to attend one of these ticketed Arena Events.


Our holiday home has central heating, with an ‘on-demand’ combi-boiler for hot water, radiators in all rooms (including shower and toilet) and a fire in the living area.

It is fully equipped for all your needs too, and has a fully equipped kitchen with cooker, separate fridge and freezer, toaster, kettle and microwave.

There are 3 bedrooms, one double room with a small dresser and wardrobe, along with two twin bedded rooms, both with a small bedside table and wardrobe. Duvets and pillows are provided and all beds have mattress and pillow protectors. Bed linen is included in the price shown. Beds will be made up ready for your arrival. Please remember to bring towels and tea towels as these are not provided.

Backing onto the kitchen is the main bathroom with shower and next door to that is an additional toilet with small hand basin.

There is L-shaped seating in the lounge area, which also has a dining table with sofa-style seating and stools to eat your meals at. A collapsible highchair is also available for your use. The TV with Freeview sits on some shelving with a small amount of storage space above. There is a DVD player and some DVDs for you to watch, when you fancy some time inside. If you forget your holiday reading, don’t panic, we have left a few easy reading books, magazines and games for you to enjoy.

We also provide an iron/ironing board, vacuum cleaner, a clothes airer and hairdryer for you to use.

Most devices can pick up the Butlin’s Wi-Fi inside of the caravan. The most basic option of this is free to use, however it is recommended you bring a Wi-Fi dongle if you will be dependent on the Wi-Fi during your stay.

Butlin’s host a range of breaks and events throughout the year with the Just for Tots and family breaks offering great entertainment. There are special events at Halloween and Christmas too, along with the Adult weekends and special ticketed events, so there is something for all ages, all year round. Age restrictions apply to some breaks, which we have highlighted on the ‘Price & Availability’ tab above.


Bookings & Conditions

Check in time is 4:00pm. Guests can arrive on resort from 1:00pm park alongside caravan and use the facilities at Butlin’s.

Check out time is by 10.00am but you do not have to leave the resort until Midday.

We can accept bookings from Monday to Friday, Friday to Monday, Monday to Monday and Friday to Friday bookings.

There is a strict NO smoking and NO pets* policy in our caravan.

*Important Note: Please be advised that we do occasionally visit with our own dog, who is restricted to the lounge area. The caravan is thoroughly cleaned after any visit, but should any of your party have a dog allergy, this may not be the best caravan for you!

Location

Our caravan is located in Ocean Cove, which is just a short walk from the heart of Butlin’s entertainment where you will have access to the shows, as well as the Butlin’s facilities, including the swimming pool, arcade and funfair (activities like go-karting incur extra charges). The Highwayman pub is situated at the entrance to the caravan site, which is perfect for a relaxing evening.

There is a small supermarket near to the caravan and a Morrisons, Tesco, Lidl, & McDonalds just 5 minutes’ drive from the site.

Launderette facilities are available on site (extra charge).

There is also a beach and golf course close to the entrance of the site.
If you decide to have a day away from the site, Dunster Castle and Watermill, the West Somerset Railway, Fossil Beach near Watchett, Exmoor National Park and the Quantock Hills are a short drive away.

For those who love to walk, Minehead is the official starting point for the South West Coast Path, with the Minehead to Porlock section 8.9 miles through woodland that takes you along cliff tops, farm tracks and through beautiful wooded coombes.
