Our modern ABI Sunningdale holiday home for hire on Nairn Lochloy has double glazing and central heating, and is sited on a large, quiet pitch offering stunning views across the golf course.
Our lovely ABI Sunningdale caravan is situated on a large, quiet pitch on Nairn Lochloy Holiday Park, with a stunning view overlooking the golf course as you sit on the veranda. On the veranda we have installed a lovely hardwood bench (which is secured to the veranda with a padlock and chain for security, and to ensure that nobody attempts to move it elsewhere). There is also a small bistro table with 4 chairs there too. You also have the added bonus of privacy, as you are mainly unseen from the road through the park.
We only take bookings with a maximum of 4 guests in the holiday group. We like to think that it's a far better holiday experience for people when they can, individually, access the Lounge/Kitchen area any time they want, without disrupting the other guests.
We now feel obliged to state clearly the obvious rules, which most people kindly observe, but, unbelievably, certain people chose to ignore
these basic rules and will not be welcomed back to our caravan (or any other caravan owners we know).
NO PETS - NO SMOKING - NO BARBECUE COOKING ON VERANDA - NO OTHER PERSONS STAYING OVERNIGHT.
We are fortunate that every caravan adjoining our's is privately owned by lovely,elderly people, so you have the added bonus of
peace and quiet. They also do us the kindness of letting us know of any potential issues regarding our caravan.
We also request a few personal details of our Holidaymakers, so that we can register their presence on the Holiday Park - it's mainly
to keep in line with Parkdean's Registration system, and ensure that everything is above board.
The caravan has double glazing and central heating throughout and really is special.
The living/dining area has a table and four chairs, a pull-out double bed, coffee table, electric fire, large flat screen TV, DVD player and a CD/radio player.
The kitchen has a full size gas cooker, integrated fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster,George Foreman grill and other appliances, and, obviously, all pots, pans and crockery etc.
The master bedroom is at the far end of the caravan and is very spacious. There is a full size double bed with headboard and lift-up storage below (which is actually used by the owners to store spare bedding - in case of an unfortunate accident eg.), but some suitcases can be stored on top of the large ‘his and hers’ wardrobe. There are bedside cabinets, a small dressing table with mirror, a double wall socket, shaver socket and a padded stool. There's also a wall-mounted, flat screen TV. What makes this bedroom special is the en-suite, which has a full-size bath with a shower above the mixer taps, along with a small wash basin and a WC.
The twin bedroom has the beds set out in an L-shape to each other, giving you the best use of the available space, which allows a double wardrobe to also be fitted in the room. Both beds have a mattress protector.
The shower room is across the hall from the twin bedroom and has a large rectangular shower cubicle, plus a WC and wash basin.
The caravan comes complete with lots of extras, including an iron and ironing board, hairdryer, outside BBQ (available on request), a very large picnic style bench just in front of the veranda, and a 2-seater bench further along. Please do not use disposable bbq's on the grass - there's an exposed end of a concrete structure in the ground, along to the left of where the owners' bunker is, which is okay to use.
Also, we do provide made-up beds, a dish towel and a couple of hand towels, You can also make yourself a cuppa on arrival with the
wee packs provided, before you tackle the really fun part of your holiday - unpacking the car!
Bookings : - We prefer people to email for prices (and any other required info).
COVID-19 UPDATE :- For the 2021 season, we have decided to only take bookings for Sat-Sat 7-night breaks which are listed. Sorry, no short breaks, we just feel the least amount of people occupying the caravan the safer it will be. Hopefully, we will be able to go back to include short breaks in the 2022 season when things are more settled down.
Please note that we don't provide Entertainment Passes. If you want to access the Drifters entertainment hall, the Swimming Pool etc. you
will require a Pass for each person, although you can access other areas like, Speldings Bar and Restaurant, the Amusements Arcade,the Shop etc. without a Pass. The Passes cost £9 per person per week (or part week) for off peak periods of the season, rising to £11 during the peak times of the season ( just the usual - summer and school holiday periods fall under "peak" periods). These passes are, obviously available from Reception on the Park.
