Scotland’s hidden gem is Monreith Sands Holiday Park, on which is our quiet, family run holiday rental; a 4 berth holiday home with two bedrooms with double glazing and central heating.fully equiped for your holiday
Our holiday rental caravan offers a large open plan lounge, kitchen and dining area, complete with TV, fridge/ freezer ,4 slice toaster, and a microwave
The bathroom has a walk-in shower, wash basin and toilet.
Outside we have a decking area;accessed from the lounge ideal for reading or enjoying a glass or two.and a view of the Irish Sea from the decking
Private parking is available.
We supply tea, sugar, coffee and milk to get your holiday off to a great start
Towels and bedding is also provided
Well behaved dog are welcome, There will be additional charge per dog per visit
Location
Monreith Sands Holiday Park is in an ideal location right on Whithorn Way; one of Scotland’s best coastal walks offering 80 miles of super views. The sea and beach is just 300 yards away and the local beaches are free from crowds. The beaches here are clean and kept that way.
We love this area for the sights, sounds and views. There’s plenty to do around and about, whether you enjoy walking, cycling ,fishing, windsurfing or golf, with a golf course being just a mile away and four further courses within 30 minutes. There’s also many pubs, shopping and gardens within a short drive.
Nearby Wigton has a collection of book stores and a market each Saturday.
There are supermarkets and a cinema at Newton Stewart.
A well-stocked Spar and a Post Office can be found in Port William, along with a café, petrol station an electric car charging.
About 10 minutes away is the Isle of Whithorn, one of the most southerly villages in Scotland, where you will find a nice pub that and serves real ale and food. There’s also a chip shop and café in the town of Whithorn. The Whithorn Pilgrims Way runs from Glasgow along the coast to Isle of Whithorn.
Should you fancy a day trip to the Emerald Isle, we are just 25 minutes away from the Irish Ferries.
On a good day you can see the Isle of Man in the Irish sea.
Trout fishing and sea Bass fishing are close by, as are farm fresh produce.

Garlieston has a museum of WWII activity in the area building the Mulberry harbour for d-day landings
