Our luxury, comfy, cosy wood clad, 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom, central heated, double glazed, 40’ x 20’ lodge at Haggerston Castle, is situated in a leafy spot by the golf course, Fairways Café, the adventure golf and children’s play.

When you enter the lodge, in front of you there is a spacious family bathroom with shower cubicle, wash stand, toilet and heated towel rail. From the bathroom there is a door to the twin bedroom and the hall.

The twin bedroom has two full size single beds with new mattresses, a wardrobe, bedside table and dressing table.

In the roomy master bedroom there is a king size bed, mirrored wardrobes, dressing table and bedside tables. The en-suite bathroom has a full size bath, shower, wash stand, toilet and heated towel rail.

At the other end of the lodge, to the left of the lounge is the kitchen, which has everything you need including a washing machine, dishwasher, tall fridge freezer, built-in electric oven and gas hob, microwave, a kettle, toaster and even a wine chilling cabinet. You will also find plenty of dishes, crockery, cutlery and pans etc.

In the lounge you will find a three seater sofa, a sofa bed, armchair and pouffe, along with a wall-mounted TV and DVD, remote control electric fire and display cabinet. The dining area has a large table and six dining chairs. You can get out onto the deck through the double French door, where you will find a big wooden table and chairs.

Pillows and Duvets are provided, but I would be grateful if you could bring your own bed linen, towels and tea towels.

I am sorry, but we cannot have four legged friends in the lodge.

No smoking is allowed in the lodge.

We cannot accommodate single sex parties and one member of your party must be over 21.

Passes are not included but can be bought at Reception.
A £50 non refundable deposit will secure your dates and a £75 refundable deposit against damage added to the price. This will be refunded once the lodge has been checked and found to he clean, tidy and undamaged.

Location

There are lots of lakes at Haggerston Castle Holiday Park, where you can see the ducks, geese, swans and other water fowl. One lake has swan and dragon boats for you to hire. Daisy bikes are also available for hire. You can have a go at archery and shooting amongst other activities. In the wood near the entrance you can try the aerial adventure going around the trail up in the trees. The stables provide ponies and horses of various sizes for people to ride.

Indoors there are two swimming pools, an amusement arcade and the Live Lounge where you can be entertained. There are also children’s activities held daily. There is an indoor play area for the children and pottery painting.

The Mash & Barrel provides meals and drinks throughout the day. If you want a take away, there is a Burger King, Papa John’s Pizza and a Fish & Chip shop In the car park by the Mini market

Also on site there is a reasonably priced Mini market where you can get hot pasties, bacon rolls etc. along with your daily needs.

Away from the park there are lots of interesting places to visit, such as Holy Island, Alnwick Castle, Bamburgh Castle, Seahouses (where you can get a boat to go to the Farne Islands to see the seals) and Chain Bridge Honey Farm where you can have lunch on the Café Bus, to name a few.

You will find lots of leaflets in the Holiday Makers Reception Area. This is also where you can get you passes to get into the complex, which are not included in our rental price.
