Caravan Description
Our static caravan measures 35ft by 12ft and has two bedrooms. It is located in the Newport area of Hemsby, Norfolk.
We use the caravan ourselves so it has been set up to have a number of facilities and extras, designed to be suitable for a middle-aged or older couple. We like to feel that we are sharing our well-loved caravan with like-minded people.
Unfortunately we are not prepared to accommodate pets. We do accept a maximum of two well behaved children.
Site rules also prevent us from letting to all male or all female groups.
The caravan is situated on a quiet, well-kept park within easy reach of a beautiful beach and many amenities. The Park has tarmac roadways throughout.
It is a well cared for caravan and has a number of features.
There is a veranda along the complete length of one side of our caravan, accommodating the entrance door, with a ramp leading up onto the veranda for easy access. The ramp has a rubber covering for comfort and safety.
The large lounge area has built-in seating and two reclining chairs, with the seating area also converting into a double bed. In addition there is a modern 43" LED TV and a DVD player that also plays CDs and files on a USB stick. A gas fire provides heating, together with an electric convector heater.
The dining area is incorporated with the lounge and has a folding gate-leg table. There are four dining chairs available.
There is a fully equipped kitchen with a full-size gas oven, kettle, toaster, steamer, air fryer, fridge (with a small freezer compartment) and a combination microwave. Crockery and cutlery are also provided.
The main bedroom has a double bed, large wardrobe, dressing table and an en-suite toilet with wash basin, along with electric heating.
The second bedroom has a full size divan single bed and a wardrobe, plus electric heating.
There is a toilet with shower and wash basin and heated towel rail. All of the taps in the caravan are easy to use lever type. The shower is a modern, temperature controlled unit.

About the Area
Within walking distance of the Park there is a swimming pool, amusements, clubs (providing food, drink and entertainment; open to non-residents), a diner, fish and chip shop, cafe, mini market and convenience store.Sundowner is a ten minute walk from the nearby seaside resort of Hemsby and it is also possible to walk to Scratby and California.
The famous town and beach of Great Yarmouth, with its amusements, entertainment, restaurants and golden beaches, are a ten minute drive away or can be reached by bus. Great Yarmouth also boasts a weekly market, museums, dog racing, banger racing and horse racing.
The Park is within easy reach of the Norfolk Broads and some secluded beaches where seals are often seen.
A short drive to Horning will enable you to take a trip along one of the Broads in the Mississippi River Boat.
Also within driving distance is the wildlife park at Thrigby.
There are a number of varied activities and attractions along this section of the coast.
