Chalet Description

Our chalet is decorated in modern, neutral colours and accommodates five people. It has two bedrooms, one a double bed and a new triple bunk which is a double with a single over it and is rated for adult use
There is a travel cot available on request.

The bathroom has been upgraded and is fitted with a modern shower cubicle and electric towel rail.

Our chalet offers a modern, well-equipped kitchen and a welcome pack of essentials so you can relax and have a tea or coffee after your journey.

In the lounge is a 32” smart TV which has access to all free to air channels, as well the facility to log onto your own Amazon or Netflix account.

Professionally laundered bedding and towels are provided (please bring your own towels for the beach) with beds made up ready for your arrival.

Free Entertainment in Club Oasis and access to the club swimming pool.

Terms & Conditions

Once initial contact has been made and dates have been agreed, we will issue a booking form which acts as an invoice via post or email detailing the dates, the balance due and the chalet details. Please complete the missing information and return the form to us within 1 week.
Payment details can be found on the booking form. We require an initial booking deposit of £60 to reserve the chalet, which is payable within 1 week of the dates being agreed. There will also be a REFUNDABLE security deposit in addition to the booking deposit (see below).
If the deposit and booking form are not received within this period then the reservation will expire and the chalet may become available for others to book. We will try to contact you just in case there has been an oversight.
Upon receipt of your booking deposit, your holiday will be confirmed along with a receipt, balance and due date. Final balance and due date will be clearly displayed on your invoice.
Bookings made within 30 days of the start date of your holiday will require payment in full.
The deposit will be deducted from the balance but is non-refundable in all cases. Final balance must be made no later than 30 days before the start date of your holiday but can be made at any time prior to this, otherwise the chalet will become available to others to book and the deposit surrendered.
Bookings for all male or all female parties under the age of 21 will not be accepted. Please contact us if you have any issues regarding the policy.
Security deposit
An additional security deposit of £100 is required. This will be refunded to you on the condition that the chalet is left in the condition that you received it in, with no damage, breakages or soiling of any kind. We understand accidents happen and small items e.g. cups/glass etc are considered wear and tear but other larger items will be considered as damage. We would ask you to make us aware so we can rectify this for our next guests. Lost keys will mean a surrender of your security deposit due to the costs of replacing locks etc. We will contact you within 7 days after the completion of your holiday to confirm your bank details of where to send the refund to.
All rubbish must be removed. Large bins are situated around the site.
Please be mindful of losses/breakages. Remember, if extra work, cleaning or repairs are required to your chalet at any time during or immediately after your stay it could jeopardize the return of your security deposit.
We want your holiday to be a very pleasant experience. Please contact us if you have any issues.

Personal property
Chalet No. 5 will not be responsible for loss or damage to personal property or persons of any kind.
You will be responsible for the security of the chalet at all times during the length of your stay.




Cancellation:
If you cancel your holiday more than 30 days prior to the start date of your holiday, only your booking deposit will be lost. However, if you cancel your holiday 30 days or less from the start date of your holiday, the entire balance of monies paid will be lost and an acknowledgement of cancellation will be sent to you by Chalet No. 5.


What’s included:
Key fob for swimming pool and gym, Oasis Club free entrance.
A welcome pack consisting of tea, coffee, sugar, milk, 1 toilet roll, washing up liquid, tea towel and bin bag.
Chalets are cleaned and made up with fresh bed linen, bath towels for each guest, hand towel and a bath mat.
Please bring your own beach and pool towels.

General safety
It is advised that the top bunk in the rear bedroom is not suitable for a child under 6 years of age. It is advised that the bottom bunk in the rear bedroom is not suitable for a child under 3 years of age.
Fire safety:
During your stay, safety is very important to us. Please take time upon arrival to read the `Welcome booklet` and be familiar with the `Fire Action Plan. ` Please do not bring or use candles in the chalet.

Smoking:
The chalets are strictly NO SMOKING under any circumstances. This includes vaping.

Pets:
We operate a strict no pet policy in the chalet. We know this does not suit everyone and apologise if this is an inconvenience. We strive to make everyone’s holiday as enjoyable as possible.

Car parking:
There is ample free car parking around the site and usually only a short distance from your chalet, however we do not have control over the spaces and they are not reserved so this is on a first come basis. All vehicles and their belongings are left at the owner’s risk.

Electricity:
There is a meter for the electricity supply that accepts £1 and £2 coins. Please keep an eye on the remaining balance and top up as necessary.
Checking in/out:
Checking in- check in time is 4pm. The front door key is located in a key lock box near the front door, the combination will be supplied prior to your arrival and changed periodically.
Checking out-check out time is 10am on the day of departure.
Please remember to leave the key in the security lock box outside the chalet once you leave.
Please remember to place the swimming and gym fob back on the key hooks before leaving.

Other:
Changes to your booking by Chalet No.5:
Should an unforeseen change to your booking become necessary by Chalet No.,5, all monies paid by you will be fully refunded if an alternative solution is not possible. We will not be responsible for any additional or consequential losses you incur but will endeavour to resolve any problems that may occur.
Changes to your booking made by you:
We will do our utmost to try and accommodate unforeseen changes to your holiday booking but reserve the right to cancel should an agreement not be made between you and Chalet No5.
We urge you to please contact us immediately should a change be necessary.
The facilities on California Sands’ Holiday Park or any other are not run by Chalet No.5 and we have no control over the running of such facilities.
Please note that in `low season` some of the onsite facilities may be closed or subject to limited opening hours.

Holiday insurance:
It is highly recommended that you take out holiday insurance to cover any loss or injury you may sustain whilst on holiday.
