Gibson Lakeside Retreat, A stylish 44ft x 14ft mini lodge is perfect for those seeking the wow factor. We have put together the best home-from-home holiday experience you deserve, along with stunning lake views.
The open-plan lounge/dining/kitchen has plenty of room with free-standing furniture, two comfy armchairs, a new pull-out three-seater sofa bed, a 48" TV, a Blu-ray DVD player, a selection of DVDs, Wi-Fi internet, a built-in radio system, coffee tables, a dining table and four chairs, and sliding patio doors that lead to the composite decking area with superb panoramic views of the ski lake.
With full double glazing and central heating throughout, and the added bonus of an electric fire (for the colder months), this is a lodge that can be enjoyed all year round.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a large fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, gas hob, double oven, air fryer, microwave, toaster, kettle, crockery, utensils, and plenty of storage space.
There is also a clothes airer and a storage cupboard containing a broom, mop, hoover, iron, etc.
The lodge has two bedrooms. The master bedroom has a king-size bed, wardrobe, dressing table, Smart TV, and an en-suite with a walk-in shower, toilet, basin, heated towel rail, and bathmats.
The second bedroom has two full-size single beds, wardrobe, dressing table, and a wall-mounted Smart TV.
There is also a family bathroom with a bath and shower above, toilet, basin, heated towel rail, and bathmat.
All bed linen is provided. Guests are asked to provide their own towels and tea towels.
A selection of board games is also provided.
Three steps lead up to the wrap-around composite wood-effect non-slip "larger than the norm" decking area with balustrade, which is securely gated. There is a table, six chairs, a parasol, and a six-person hot tub. Another secure gate has three steps leading down to a large wooden decking area overlooking the lake, with more seating, perfect for relaxing and sunbathing. The lodge benefits from the sun all day long, but there are shaded areas if needed.
If you are an early riser, then during the summer months, taking a cup of coffee or tea and sitting on the decking, you can watch the sunrise over the lake. The lake has plenty of swans, ducks, and other water birds. It's truly stunning and a moment to savour and never forget.
The lodge has plenty of parking space beside the lodge.
No smoking in the lodge.
The lodge is thoroughly cleaned by the housekeeper using antibacterial cleaning products. Liquid soap, cleaning spray, disinfectant, and washing-up liquid are all supplied.
Self check-in is from 3pm and check-out is by 10:30 am.
Terms & Conditions
Booking Notes / Terms and Conditions1. Bookings will accommodate a maximum of six people.
2. A £100 deposit is required to secure your booking. The balance, including the refundable security bond, is due six weeks before your holiday start date. A reminder will be sent one week before this time.
3. If a booking is made within six weeks of your required dates, full payment will be required at the time of booking.
4a. If the booking is cancelled by you before the six-week payment date, the £100 deposit paid will be refunded in full.
4b. If the booking is cancelled by you within 4–6 weeks of your holiday start date, 50% of the total rental charge will be retained.
4c. If the booking is cancelled by you within 2–4 weeks of your holiday start date, 75% of the total rental charge will be retained.
4d. If the booking is cancelled by you within two weeks of your holiday start date, 100% of the total rental charge will be retained.
5. In the event of any cancellation, you must confirm this in writing (this can be by email).
6. If the booking is cancelled by the owner for whatever reason (e.g. COVID regulations), all monies paid by you will be refunded in full.
7. A refundable Security Bond of £100 will be added to the cost of your stay. This bond will be refunded in full within seven days of checking out, on the proviso that no damage, breakages, or theft have occurred at the property or excess cleaning is required. Photographic evidence of any damage will be taken to support any deductions. If damage in excess of £100 is caused, we will seek to recover the full amount from the lead booker. Minor breakages are open to negotiation, and accidents do happen.
You must inform the owner within 12 hours of arrival of any defects, inventory shortages, and/or breakages. Failure to do so may result in you being charged.
8. Entertainment passes are required for guests to enter the entertainment complex. Passes must be ordered directly through us any time up to one week before the start of your holiday.
9. We accept payment by bank transfer or cheque.
10. No monies will be refunded if you are asked to vacate the lodge by the holiday park, owners, or their staff.
11. No monies will be refunded if you vacate the lodge for any reason, including emergency or illness.
12. In the case of a maintenance problem, the hirer should contact the owner. No repairs should be attempted.
13. Dogs are allowed (maximum of one only). However, this may be declined depending on size and breed at the owner's discretion, and an additional charge may be required.
14. The lodge owner, the holiday park, and their staff do not accept liability for any loss or damage to the hirer's property, or for any accidents, injuries, illness, or disease arising from the hire of this lodge or the use of the holiday park, including any Act of God or extreme weather conditions.
15. These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights under English law.

About the Area
A map will be provided to help locate the lodge and facilities. The entertainment complex is a seven-minute walk from the lodge. Passes are required to enter the entertainment complex. This country park has seven lakes set within 360 acres of woodland and, if you're a dog walker, you can be out for hours without passing the same place twice, all on flat land.
This is a small list of activities on the park:

Tattershall Country Park is central to everything in Lincolnshire, so the park is only part of the attraction.
Skegness and Chapel St Leonards are a good day out, approximately a 40–45 minute drive away.

The villages of Tattershall and Conningsby are an interesting walk away for the Co-op, post office, butchers, bakers, Chinese and Indian takeaways, the Ginger Cow Café, good restaurants, and pubs.
And for those who want peace and quiet, with a state of calm and tranquillity free from noise, stress, and unwanted disturbance (apart from the odd duck quacking), then this lodge is perfect for you.
However, having said that, Tattershall Lakes Country Park is close to RAF Conningsby, so aircraft (Eurofighters) can often be seen taking off and landing. The Battle of Britain Memorial Flight, including the Spitfire, Hurricane, Lancaster Bomber, and Dakota, is based at Conningsby. The display team often practice over the park, giving you a front-row seat, although this doesn't happen every day. For enthusiasts, you can download the app to see the timings of what's happening on the day.
Guest passes are based on 3 periods, Super Weekends, Peak times and off peak times and depending number of nights on site.
