Caravan Description
Our caravan is situated on Haven’s very popular Kent Coast Leisure Park, near Rochester in Kent. We are very lucky to have a very large corner plot, with ample space to relax and play on both sides of the caravan with plenty of room for parking.
We have completely renovated the caravan with all new carpets, curtains and furniture to a high specification to make your stay as comfortable as possible. No typically hard wooden bench seating here, say hello to a comfy welcoming large corner sofa where you can relax and unwind. We also have a large 43" TV/DVD with Freeview channels galore and a cozy flame effect electric fire to snuggle in front of. We provide unlimited Wi-Fi and Netflix/Sky Sports for those rainy days all free of charge!
The whole caravan is fully double glazed with gas central heating even in the bedrooms so you will never get chilly! The kitchen diner is fully fitted with gas oven and hob, washing machine, full size fridge/large freezer, kettle, 4 slice toaster, microwave and even a slow cooker and air fryer for your convenience! As well as all the kitchen equipment you could need, we have also provided a full set of plastic tableware and cutlery useful for outside and for little ones.
When you arrive you will find our caravan stocked up with teabags, coffee, milk and sugar for that all important cuppa after your journey and we have also provided a selection of spices and condiments too!
We have two bedrooms, both of which will be fully made up for your arrival, no wrestling with duvet covers here! The double room is a very good size with oodles of wardrobe space and an ensuite toilet/washroom, and it has a TV. We also have a lovely twin room for the little ones which we are able to add a theme to with different duvets and pictures etc from roaring dinosaurs and under the sea to gaming and unicorns/castles (don't worry if you are all grown-ups we can change the covers!) which we are sure the children will love to spend their bedtime in. We have also installed a tv/DVD player and have provided a huge selection of children's (and grown-ups’) DVDs for them to watch in bed! We also have a luxury full height airbed with its own built in pump and all the bedding needed for it for use in the lounge should you need it.
All new for 2026 is our completely renovated Glam Shower Room, complete with rainfall shower - it makes getting ready for a night out the best part of it!
We are also hugely proud to now be able to offer our fabulous Glamvan Sundeck where you can sit and relax and take in all the fabulous Estuary views, watch the shipping, sunsets and just chill and eat your meals outside. Of course, this would not be complete without fairy lights to add some twinkling wonder at night times.

About the Area
Kent Coast Leisure Park in the village of Allhallows sits nestled between the rugged beauty of the Thames Estuary and beautiful meadows of the Kent countryside behind. Whether you prefer just a quiet sanctuary to sit and watch the incredible sunsets and shipping on the Estuary, or an activity packed holiday, you will not be disappointed here, Kent Coast offers it all!The list of sporting facilities is sure to impress; a large and beautifully situated coarse fishing lake; indoor and outdoor heated pools (please note that amazing additions are coming to the swimming area in 2025 including fantastic huge new flumes and splash area which may mean that some sections of the pool could be unavailable during construction) , tennis and sports courts, bowling green, crazy golf and indoor sports dome. However, the jewel in the crown is our brand new Adventure Village, featuring massive new play park, picnic area with outdoor stage for shows and films, huge new sandpit, The Jump, Climbing Walls, Dog Park and Aerial Adventures. There is also kart hire and a Nerf Training Camp! We also have a brand new much bigger Marina Bar. The Marina Bar has its own huge outdoor terrace overlooking the play area and the Estuary. Inside is a large Sports Bar with huge screens and massive show bar for all your usual entertainment. There is also a Seaside Squad shop! We also have a Fish and Chip Shop, Burger King, Papa Johns, Seaside Treats bar (waffles, ice cream etc) and Box Bar (alcoholic drinks outside). We also have a newly refurbished Yacht Club on the seafront with lots of indoor and outdoor seating where you can also watch live entertainment. Also new for the children is our Creative Studio for arts and crafts. New for 2025 opening late March is our very own Weatherspoon's!
Haven provides an incredible array of organised activities using these facilities - for young and old alike. The Park also offers traditional holiday facilities such as an amusement arcade, Restaurant with River Terrace and a packed programme of daytime and evening entertainment for all the family. There is also a well-stocked supermarket and launderette should you need it. One of the more unusual features at Allhallows is its very own 19th century Fort (Slough Fort) which is being restored with tours available.
The park is only a short railway journey from London and an easy drive to some beautiful beaches on the Kent coast. The Isle of Thanet is home to 15 different coves and sandy beaches with the Royal harbour of Ramsgate with its regency architecture, the quintessential seaside town of Broadstairs and vintage pleasure park at Margate you are spoilt for choice here. Whitstable is a seaside town in northeast Kent, 8 miles from Canterbury. Whitstable is famous for its oysters which have been collected in the area since Roman times. The harbour houses a fish market. Every year the town holds a nine day Oyster Festival in July. There is entertainment and local art on display all over town. Harbour Street is home to 3 of the town’s galleries as well as many boutiques and individual shops. The Whitstable Museum and Art Gallery displays artefacts and portraits relating to the town's seafaring traditions. A notable feature of Whitstable is The Street, a natural strip of shingle bank, located to the east of the harbour. It is revealed only at low tide when it is possible to walk out along it. There are many colourful beach huts along the beach up past the harbour.
Close by are the historic towns of Gravesend and Rochester. There are so many reasons to visit Gravesend it is hard to list them all here. It has a wealth of riverside heritage to visit. My personal favourites are The Gordon Gardens; Promenade and cafe; New Tavern Fort and the wonderful views from Windmill Hill. It has become famous for being the final resting place of the legendary Pocahontas. It has good rail links to London, and you can also travel via river boat too on various excursions and trips up river.
With its magnificent castle built in 1087, awe inspiring Cathedral and quaint Victorian high street, Rochester is a must for you to visit. It has many links with the famous author Charles Dickens with many of its buildings featured in his novels and his former home just a few miles away in Higham. The city holds various colourful festivals throughout the year including The Sweeps Festival on May Day weekend and the Dickens Festival in the first week of June. There are also various concerts held in the grounds of the Castle during the summer.
Bluewater shopping centre is well worth a visit, one of the biggest in the country with a huge multiplex cinema, restaurants too many too mention and trampoline and soccer parks.
Dockside shopping centre in Chatham is closer still Dockside is home to an Odeon Cinema, Flip Out Trampoline Park and a large array of shops. It is also surrounded by a good choice of restaurants including Nando’s, Pizza Hut and Creams. It is also perfectly situated to combine with a visit to Chatham Historic Dockyard just across the road. One of Britain’s leading maritime heritage attractions with Three Historic Warships, a working Victorian Ropery, Historic Lifeboat Collection, Dockyard Railway, Hearts of Oak digital theatre and play areas, plus magnificent collections from 2 national museums.
New interactive galleries take you on a voyage back to the ‘age of sail, where powerful stories are unearthed revealing the incredibly important historical role of Chatham Dockyard. There is also another cinema, bowling alley and other attractions at Medway Valley Park near Strood. This is also home to "Diggerland". A fun packed adventure park where children and adults can ride on and operate full sized diggers, dumpers and other construction equipment.
If you love castles you are in for a treat as there are so many to visit, Upnor Castle, Rochester Castle, Leeds Castle are just some of many to explore.
St Andrews Lakes at Halling boasts an amazing range of water-based activities and stunning floating lodges complete with their very own decking areas and private hot tubs!
As a former quarry they have transformed the site into a superb beautiful blue lake reserve, complete with sandy beaches, a fantastic range of water and land based activities aimed at all ages.
A beautifully set and incredibly thrilling 600m zip wire has just opened. So whatever you decide to do at this wonderful location you will be sure to have an amazing time and feel as though you are abroad without having to deal with the inconvenience of flying to get there!
Motorsport fans will be well catered for too with the famous Brands Hatch nearby with all that it has to offer for any petrol heads in the family.
There are many children's soft play centres in the area the biggest and best of which is Monkey Bizz. Perfect for a rainy day Monkey Bizz offers a huge indoor soft play area, with a separate area for toddlers to play, a roller rink and a café. Children will also love the Fenn Bell Inn just a few minutes’ drive from the park which has its own rescued animals centre and lovely pub food. On a much larger scale and perfect for a whole day out is Howletts Wild Animal Park.
Finally a short drive away is Fort Amherst in Chatham. Originally constructed during Napoleonic times in preparation for a possible invasion, Chatham’s Fort Amherst was also used as a civil defence centre in both world wars. The Fort has been in a near constant state of restoration since the 1980’s by the Fort Amherst Heritage Trust, a charity who works hard to manage and maintain the vast site whilst sympathetically returning its grounds and buildings to their original state to ensure Britain’s largest Napoleonic Fortress can be enjoyed by all.
So whether you decide to stay on Park or explore outside there is just so much to do at Haven Kent Coast it really is a fabulous location.
