Caravan Description

We would like to welcome guests to our new in 2022 Willerby Grasmere caravan situated on the relaxing Sandhills Caravan Park on the beautiful Whitecliff Bay in Bembridge.

The caravan is well furnished, of a modern design with gas central heating in all rooms, along with double glazing, LED lighting and decking to side and front of caravan. There’s also ample parking directly at the caravan.

The main double bedroom has a quality king size pocket sprung/memory foam mattress for a good night's sleep, a large walk-in wardrobe with a dressing table and stool, plus plenty of floor space around the bed. The second bedroom is a twin bedded room with a good-size, full height wardrobe, two single beds with room between them, and a bedside table. There is also a double pull-out bed in the living room, should you need it for additional visitors.

Pillows and duvets are provided. You will however need to bring your own bed linen, pillow cases, towels, tea towels and shower mat.

The bathroom is equipped with a shower, wash basin, heated towel rail and toilet.

The living room/dining area is spacious and comfortable, and fully equipped with a satellite dish for the 43” Smart LED TV and DVD player. A Bluetooth speaker/soundbar, DVDs, books and games are all provided for you to use. Wi-Fi is available on site.

The kitchen is fitted with full size gas cooker with separate grill, a microwave, full standing fridge/freezer, toaster, kettle, pots, pans crockery, cutlery, utensils, a range of glasses and a Nespresso coffee machine. An iron, ironing board and hoover are provided too.

Outside on the ample decking area, you will find a table and chairs to allow dining outside whilst enjoying the views. Also available is a BBQ, buckets, spades and extra chairs for your use at the beach. A washing line is provided at the side of the caravan.

There is an area of grass to the front of the caravan, which is ideal for children to play. In addition, there is a children’s play park situated just behind the caravan.

Our caravan is strictly NO smoking.

NO pets are allowed on site.

All utilities (gas, water, electric) are included in our rental charge.

Location

Our Willerby Grasmere caravan on the relaxing Sandhills Caravan Park, is situated in a lovely quiet part of the park with views over Whitecliff Bay and to the Culver Downs. It’s within close proximity to the laundry room and just a short walk from the main Reception, site shop and recycling area.

Sandhills Holiday Park is very private and quiet. It is family owned and run and is very family orientated and friendly.

At the main Reception you will find a well-stocked shop that covers essential groceries, an off-licence and newsagent/gift shop, with the site’s recycling centre just outside. There is a launderette and children's play area on site also, with ample areas of grass area for children to play without traffic concerns.

Sandhills Holiday Park has access to a private sandy beach that is just a short walk from the caravan. The beach offers safe bathing for swimming, stand-up paddle boarding, kayaking or just playing in the water with lots of rock pools at low tide for crabbing! The beach has two cafés that serve food, drinks and most importantly ice creams!

The Park is situated on the costal footpath that can take you onto the Culver Downs and onto Sandown or directly into the lovely village of Bembridge, approximately 30 minutes’ walk with scenic views of the Whitecliff bay as you traverse the headland. At low tide you can walk the beach route round the peninsula to Bembridge, stopping at the Crab and Lobster pub.

There are a number of excellent pubs close by, all serving food, as well as several takeaway restaurants in Bembridge.

The main supermarkets (Tesco, Morrisons, Asda) will deliver to the site, if required.

A bus stop is situated at the entrance to the neighbouring caravan park, Whitecliff Bay Caravan Park, which is a short walk from Sandhills.

Within a 20 minute drive are the seaside towns of Sandown, Shanklin and Ryde as well as local attractions such as Robin Hill, Shanklin Chine and the wildlife sanctuary to name but a few.

There is plenty to do on the island for all ages!
