Location

Shorefield Country Park is ideally situated close to both the coast and the New Forest. There is plenty to see and do in the surrounding area and lovely walks just on the doorstep. Stroll through the site to the clifftops at Milford on Sea or take a woodland walk into the village itself where you’ll find an assortment of shops and places to eat and drink. The pebble beach at Milford on Sea has colourful beach huts and views to the Isle of Wight. Dogs are allowed on the beach all year and also at Steamer Point, between Friars Cliff and Highcliffe.

At Keyhaven there is a nature reserve and sailing club. From here, during the summer months, you can take a ferry to Hurst Castle, built during the reign of King Henry VIII.

A little further on from Keyhaven is the town of Lymington with its museum, salt-water quayside swimming pool, a wide variety of shops and eateries and a market held on Saturday mornings. There are regular ferries to the Isle of Wight and several boat hire companies based in the marinas.

There are many more places to explore along the coast such as Avon Beach at Mudeford or Bournemouth as well as beautiful areas of the New Forest, all within just a short drive. Activities such as golf, cycling, canoeing, sailing, SUP and horse riding are all available close by. Details of the many attractions available such as Beaulieu Motor Museum, Buckler's Hard, Exbury, Furzey Gardens, Paultons Park etc. can be found both in our Welcome Pack and in Shorefield Reception.

New Forest Bus Tours stop at Shorefield Park during the summer months and their open top bus is a popular way to explore and enjoy the surrounding area.

Shorefield Country Park has a large clubhouse with all the facilities you might need. These include an indoor pool with steam room and sauna, an outdoor heated pool (summer only), well-equipped gym, Reflections Day spa, tennis courts, children’s play area and supermarket.

In the clubhouse, in addition to the entertainments venue there is a restaurant, bar and lounge areas and a dog-friendly dining area. During peak times there is a full programme of entertainments for both adults and children.

In order to access the swimming pools, gym and spa facilities a club membership ticket will be required and these may be purchased separately from Shorefield Reception.
