Caravan Description

I have no association with Haven. This is my private caravan that I can rent 10 months of the year as a business. The reason I purchased was because of the location to Weymouth and the surrounding areas. There's just so much to do and see here.

Of course you do have the benefit of the park too and payable separately during Haven's opening times you can if you wish purchase a pass.

Dates can be changed. Min stay 2 nights max stay 28 nights 10% voucher for food available when you stay for the Bridge Inn and also the White Pepper

Offering a hill view across Osmington, my lovely, home from home caravan is situated on the Weymouth Bay Caravan Park. It is a 2021 model, 3 bedroom Executive Horizon, which can sleep up to 8 guests plus upto 2 well behaved dogs (although please ask if you have more I may be able to accommodate). Park facilities are only seasonal Mar- 2 week of Nov and payable as an extra cost via reception or online if booking in advance but this really isn’t necessary as there is so much to offer in and around weymouth .

My caravan is available from the 8th March upto the 2nd Jan. Check in from 3pm, checkout 11am (can be earlier/later all depends on whether I have guests staying)

It is thoroughly cleaned before each stay by me. I’ve had nothing but 5 star reviews since I purchased my caravan. Not just the caravan itself but I will ensure that you are looked after during your whole stay

You will be welcomed into my bright, light and airy caravan, with a welcome gift as a thank you for booking with me. Beds will also be made up with fresh linen for your arrival plus Bath towels

Clean fleece blankets are provided for those colder months and they are kept in a storage bag under the min bed.

In the main bedroom I have added a mattress topper to the bed with a king size duvet. Full length mirror in the wardrobe aswell as hanging storage, Clothes hangers and a spare storage bag for clothes on top of the wardrobe.

One of the single bedrooms I can make into a double with an added mattress topper to make it even more comfortable and arriving soon (oct 2025) a mattress converter to secure the 2 singles together to make it a double mattress.

Blankets for your pets, plus an old towel (which is always washed for those rainy days) is provided too. Also doggies shampoo, deodoriser and poo bags, bowls for food and water

A travel cot with linen, can also be provided - please let me know if this is required and a bed guard

Also provided is hand towels and a bath mat aswell as well as freshly washed Bath Towels

Although not central heating I do have top of the range heated plates which are all touch screen apart from one of the twin rooms (wasn’t able to fit this in but there is the normal fan heater there). These electric heaters are very efficient and heat extremely quickly. You can also place these on a timer. Also in the living room there is a fab electric fireplace which again is top of the range. Enjoy the wonderful ambience that it produces, not just on the front, but the sides too.

Also provided to get your holiday off to a good start is tea, coffee, sugar, milk, Tassimo machine, cafeteria

An alarm system is there should you wish to use and is attached to your key as a fob.

To make your stay more enjoyable, within my home from home caravan you will find a Smart Tv with all the Apps, Alexa, PlayStation 4 with 3 remotes, DVDs (more can be found under the single bed) board games which includes scrabble, monopoly and Cluedo, a pack of cards, colouring pencils, a sharpener, plain paper, colouring books and puzzle books. Ideal for when it’s raining or for when you just want to have a chill. Reading books




Location

Situated on Weymouth Bay Caravan Park in Dorset, my pet friendly caravan is ideally sited in a quiet location, yet close enough to all the amenities on offer if you wish to use and is payable separately (March - second week Nov).

Bowleaze Cove (the beach) is accessible via the beach path or over the hills

There are also some fab walks along the coastline. You can also walk into Weymouth along the seafront which takes approximately 45 mins and also you have Lodmoor Nature Reserve. Here you will find the sea life centre (has to be pre-booked) sand sculpting, go-karts, golf, adventure golf (this has to be pre-booked)

3 nearby pubs 2 of them in Preston (The Bridge which is my local or Spice Ship) and the other in Sutton Poyntz called The Springhead all serve food and are dog and kid-friendly

Weymouth Bay now has a bus route (fares apply and summer time only) a few 100 metres from the caravan so no need to go to the main road. This will take you to town and from there you have lots of options to either change bus route to several other locations or take yourself for a walk through the town where you will find the harbour with a choice of pubs and restaurants. Seasonal only there is a fun fair at the front of the Pavillions also some rides along the weymouth seafront.

You can also walk to the other side to find more eating places and from there walk to the famous Nothe Fort. You also have a lovely walk here too in the gardens where there is a play area for kids.

Weymouth Bay is ideally situated should you wish to drive to other locations. There is Abbotsbury a lovely village where you can visit the swannery again a great place too for walkers. Portland which has Portland Bill and also a lovely Cove which is tucked away just behind Portland Castle. A lovely café is here too and you will find the food and service to be amazing. Lulworth Cove and castle.

Entertainment passes if needed are purchased separately from Haven Reception but not essential if you don’t want to use the amenities. You can still go to the arcade and the bar (Open from Mar closes middle of Nov-End of Feb) however weymouth does have its own pool and there is plenty of things in and around the surrounding area to visit especially when it’s raining.
