Beautiful holiday home for hire on Bowleaze Cove Holiday Park & Spa, situated in the Redcliffe area of the park and benefitting from double glazing and central heating.
In one of the best positions on Waterside’s five star Bowleaze Cove Holiday Park & Spa, our beautiful holiday home has piped-gas central heating, double-glazing and is insulated.
Redcliffe, is a very quiet location on the park, with no through traffic. For a short walk, go up to the hill behind the lodge where you will be met with stunning views.
The holiday home has two bedrooms, one double and one twin bedded room, each with terrestrial TV. Bed linen is included.
It also boasts two bathrooms, one with a bath and one with a large shower.
The kitchen is spacious and fully equipped for all your holiday needs, including a fridge, freezer, dishwasher, cooker/hob, microwave, toaster and air fryer. An iron and ironing board are also provided.
Adjoining the kitchen is a table with seating for six (two folding chairs in the cupboard).
The lounge has two comfortable settees (includes sofa bed), a coffee table, and a TV with a Roku controller providing the usual channels over Wi-Fi (included).
Outside, the deck extends along the side of the caravan lodge, where you will find a storage box containing two sunbeds (only for use on the deck). The big deck has a table with a parasol, from where you can sit and enjoy the views of the sea and beautiful sunsets.
Parking is available for two cars.

About the Area
Bowleaze Cove Holiday Park and Spa is an impressively maintained and friendly park right on the sea.On arrival you will be assigned a card (free) to access the facilities. There are two heated swimming pools (one outside), chargeable per day or weekly. There’s also a spa, (charged per visit) and a gym. There is entertainment too, which is included.
Other facilities include a large bar and an outdoor bar (The Shack) next to the beach, and adjacent is The Southside Bar, with another restaurant looking out to the sea. There are deckchairs overlooking the beach and sea, along with a cabin to obtain (non-motorized) water sports. This whole area is very pleasant, with plenty of things to keep children busy.
For food, the on-site Spar is useful (I recommend the freshly baked croissants in the morning), and there's a takeaway for fish and chips which will deliver. Outside of Waterside I can also recommend breakfast at The Lookout and views across the bay and Portland.
Walking from the park entrance, you go straight across to the beach, or head east to walk along the cliffs (about 2 miles to Smugglers pub), or head west along the beach and if you feel fit, on to Weymouth. Alternatively, take the regular bus service into Weymouth. You can also access a couple of pubs in Preston by a short walk in a lane at the rear of the park (ask for directions.)
Further out, there are many worthwhile places to enjoy along the coast.
