Caravan Description
We have a lovely new holiday home on the best site at Oakdene. This light and airy van has wonderful views across open fields and the river.
This well-equipped, 2 bedroom caravan sleeps 6 and is situated in a quiet cul-de-sac, yet not far from the excellent entertainment and recreational facilities at Oakdene Forest Park.
There is a spacious, open plan living room with a very comfortable suite, which features a double pull-out bed for the additional 2 berths, a feature fire, a 55" flat screen smart TV. Free wi-fi is also included.
The kitchen is very well-equipped and includes a dishwasher, integrated fridge freezer, gas oven, hob, microwave, toaster, kettle and slow cooker. All the utensils you need to make that gourmet meal are also included, along with an iron.
There are two bedrooms, one double and one twin, both with ample wardrobe and storage space. The main bedroom also benefits from its own en-suite bathroom. Linen is not included but can be provided at an additional cost.
The caravan has double glazing and is fully central heated, with a door leading to the outside decking area, perfect for watching the sunset.
A gas BBQ is available, but we ask that you clean it thoroughly after use. There is also parking for 2 cars.
Bookings
A £100 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking, with the balance payable 6 weeks prior to your holiday.
A £100 refundable key deposit is required against damages and extreme cleaning.

About the Area
There is always something to do at Oakdene Forest Park, from forest walks or cycling trails, children's club, crazy golf and amusement arcade to relaxing in the Blue's Bar.The indoor and outdoor swimming pool offer a fun day for all the family. The children can enjoy the 35 meter water flume and water features, while the adults can enjoy a stress free sauna, jacuzzi or spell in the steam room.
The fully equipped gym and fitness studio provides the perfect environment for those wishing to keep up their training or work out regime.
There is an outdoor children's play park, pool table, football field, and fishing, so there is something for everyone.
There are daytime activities to suit everyone too, so even if you have a rainy day, there is still plenty to do and the children will be well entertained.
Most evenings there is something for both adults and children, including a range of programmes from the entertainment staff, tribute bands and guest artists.
Also on site is a brand new cafe with an appetizing menu, and a well-stocked off-licence and supermarket. There is also a laundrette if you need one.
There are a few amenities not included in the price; however a pass can be purchased at reception.
We are lucky enough to have Hoseasons Go Active on site too. Go Active have a range of activities, which include archery, crossbow, fencing, body zorbing, waterwalkerz, sea scooters, snorkelling, Panna soccer, target paintball, pistol crossbow, a new climbing wall and much more. Go Juniors also have activities aimed at the 3-7 years old.
Go Active activities are not included in the rental price, but can be purchased in at reception, or if purchased direct from Shorefield 3 months in advance you can receive a 20% discount. We recommend Go Active is purchased in advanced as they get book up quickly.
Location
Oakdene Forest Park is a four star park set in 55 acres, and is situated adjacent to Hurn Forest. It is ideally situated just a short drive from both the stunning beaches of Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole and the beautiful New Forest; the perfect location for both seafront and county walks.
The surround area has numerous attractions for all the family including: Moors Valley Country Park, New Forest water park/ ski lake, Paulton's Family Theme Park, Farmer Palmer's Farm Park, dry ski slope, Adventure Wonderland, Marwell Zoo, Monkey World and Bovington Tank Museum.
Within a very short distance, there are numerous pubs and restaurants with lovely gardens to enjoy the summer evenings. There are also plenty of takeaway restaurants who will deliver direct to reception.
