Lodge Description

Our 4/5 berth holiday lodge at Freshwater Beach Holiday Park, is just 5 years old and is situated at the top of the park. The plot on which the lodge stands, was refurbished in September 2022 and is now child and pet friendly, as it is gated. Please note the sofa would sleep a 5th person however this is not a sofa bed.

Our lodge is the only one of its kind on the Freshwater Beach Holiday Park due to its high spec; with better insulation and the internal spec is of a higher standard too.

The lodge has its own Wi-Fi connection, Bluetooth speaker and 2 Smart TVs. We've provided some board games and a Wii to enjoy too.

The fully fitted kitchen has an oven, gas hob, toaster, kettle, full size fridge freezer, microwave and dishwasher. An iron and ironing board and a hairdryer are also provided.

The master bedroom has a king size bed, fitted wardrobes, Smart TV and an en-suite toilet with basin. The second bedroom has two single beds and a fitted wardrobe.

The family bathroom has a walk-in shower, toilet and wash basin.

To the rear of the lodge is a washing machine and tumble drier, washing line, 4 reclinable sun chairs and large parasol. We've also provided a barbecue.

There is a very large wrap around decking area complete with a table to the rear seating 8, and a rattan sofa at front, which seats 5 with outside lighting. To the front it's glazed to make the most of the views when relaxing with a beer or wine. The bottom half of the garden is fully landscaped with Astro turf and designated area for your dog.

There is room for 2 cars on driveway.

We supply guest passes for the pool, which can be found in the lodge information pack.

Please be advised that dogs are allowed (maximum of 2 well behaved dogs) with an additional charge of £25. Please notify us of this in your enquiry if you intend on bringing your pet. Please bring your dog a bed/blanket, dog bowls are provided.

On booking we will provide you with park information and T&Cs, This will be sent by email, please also check your Spam mail. Please provide a mobile contact number. Your deposit will secure the booking in-line with the terms and conditions.

Location

Freshwater Beach Holiday Park is excellently located on the Dorset coast, with the holiday park having its own private beach that’s great for kids and dogs.

There are plenty of coastal path walks nearby. West Bay is a short walk (20 minutes) over the golf course, or along the beach. Burton Bradstock is the local village where you’ll find two amazing country pubs serving great food. The town is a 5 minute drive away, where you’ll find regular markets and plenty of shops and cafés.

There are amazing places to travel locally by car or bus (bus stop at the entrance of Park). Seaton, Beer, Abbotsbury, Lyme Regis, Poole, Bournemouth, Sandbanks and many more, are all within approximately one hour’s ride. Coupled with the beautiful beaches and amazing scenery, you’ll be spoilt for choice.

Freshwater Beach Holiday Park has two heated swimming pools - one outdoor swimming pool, plus baby pool and one indoor pool with slide and children’s area. You will need to book the indoor pool online via the holiday park’s website. In the indoor pool area there is also a Jacuzzi, sauna and gym and hairdresser.

Upstairs in the entertainment centre, is the clubhouse with bar and restaurant, along with a 6 lane bowling alley (also needs pre-booking). There’s also an entertainment bar with live shows and acts on most nights for kids and adults.

There is a great Spar shop on site too, where you can buy essentials and beach items. There’s also regular additional take away options on site, such as fish and chips or freshly cooked pizzas vans. The restaurant also offers a take away service.
