Caravan Description

Our lovely holiday home on Freshwater Beach Holiday Park, is set in beautiful surroundings and is ideal for cliff walks, walks along the beach or just sitting and watching the waves crashing against the shoreline.

Our breaks are normally from Monday to Friday, **with access from 9am** on the Monday and departure by 10.00am Friday. **Extra days are available by request**
Please note: During the school holidays the breaks are from Saturday to Friday. Access from 12 noon on Saturday and departure by 10.00am Friday.

Holiday passes are included in your stay for the indoor pools, gym, outdoor pools and the entertainment. These must be left in the caravan on your departure to avoid a replacement cost being charged.

Bookings

Please email your choice of dates and the number of adults/children, along with each name. An email will be sent back to you confirming your booking.

On confirmation of your booking a £100 non-returnable deposit will be required within 7 days. The balance must be paid 4 weeks prior to your holiday.

An additional £100 security bond will be required 7 days before your holiday commences. This will be refunded once the caravan and contents have been checked following your departure, as long as the holiday passes have been left and no loss, damage and/or breakages are found, or the need for an excessive clean.

The Holiday Home

Our holiday home for hire on Freshwater Beach Holiday Park, is fully equipped with everything you would need for a relaxing or action packed holiday. The caravan comprises:

Fully Equipped Kitchen - with air fryer, slow cooker, large fridge/freezer, built-in microwave and plenty of crockery, pots, pans, utensils etc. There are also plastic items provided for outdoor use if required. A dishcloth, washing up liquid and cleaning items are provided too.

Dining Area - with seating around, plus 2 stools.

Lounge - with TV, DVD player, lamps for subtle lighting, coffee table plus plenty of games and DVDs for all ages for you to use during your stay. Information pack under coffee table.

Bedrooms – the main bedroom has a double bed, lamps and plenty of storage to put your belongings, while the smaller bedroom has twin beds, a wardrobe and cupboard space, plus children's books. Clothes Airer in Wardrobe if needed and hairdryer in drawer.

Pillows and duvets are provided in both bedrooms and all beds have pillow and mattress protectors on. You MUST provide your own duvet covers, fitted sheets, pillow cases and towels as these are NOT included.

Bathroom - with shower cubicle, wash basin, toilet, large cupboard and mirror. A bath mat is provided. A potty and small step for the little ones if required.

Extras – a travel cot (please bring your own bedding) and highchair are available, along with a potty and small step for the younger ones. Please inform us if these are required at time of booking.

Outside the caravan there is a private, fenced-in, gravel and grass area (great for children) with a large wooden table and chairs and an umbrella for al-fresco dining. A back gate provides access, as do the double gates at the front. Parking is available alongside the fence/gates of the caravan. A small brown plastic storage box for wet clothes, shoes etc. by door is available if required. One of the storage boxes for your use will have outside toys, games, bucket and spades, an extra umbrella, fold-up chairs etc. is provided for your use. We also have a rotary line and pegs.

Location

Freshwater Beach Holiday Park is situated on the beautiful Jurassic Coast in Burton Bradstock, Dorset. Facilities on site are plentiful and include:

. A fantastic indoor pool area with large 20m swimming pool, baby pool, high slide, jet area and castle, plus a shallow pool with slides, cannons and water jets etc. There’s also a hot tub, steam room and sauna in the pool area.

. Outdoor pools – a large one that is heated and a small children’s pool (unheated) with things to do and a grassed area around.

. Gym and hairdressers in the same area, along with amusements (small).

. A takeaway, with a small selection of items.

. 10 pin bowling alley (chargeable) which is adjacent to the Rooftop Bar & Restaurant.

. A large playing field for football, cricket, flying kites etc. and 2 small play areas with park equipment for younger and older children.
. Grocery shop and laundrette.

. Entertainment, with plenty of different things on offer.

Freshwater beach is ideally placed for visits to Weymouth, which is around 18 miles away via a lovely drive on the coast road, or you can catch the coastal bus at the Park’s entrance.

Lyme Regis is around 12 miles away, with West Bay within walking distance along the beach (takes us about 20 minutes) – do check the tide times or the coastal path.

Bridport is a 5 minute drive away, offering supermarkets, market town shops, bakers, butchers and plenty of coffee shops, bars, takeaways and places to eat. Some of the takeaways offer a delivery service, but you will need to collect from the area near Reception as they do not deliver to the caravan. If you like your beer, Palmer’s Brewery offer site tours.

Other nearby places include Golden Cap, Seatown, Charmouth, Dorchester, Symondsbury Estate, Abbotsbury Swannery etc.

There’s just so much here to see and do.
