Mobile Home for Sale on 4 Star Site South of France (Frejus)
Established, fully equipped and very well maintained ABI Ontario 860L mobile home 2000 Size: 28 x 10, Bedrooms: 2, Sleeps: 5-6 for sale on Le Dattier in Frejus, South of France. The mobile home is situated on a private pitch which measures approximately 14m x 9m.
It has a central living area layout with a lounge and kitchen/diner. The lounge has a comfortable seating area that can sleep one or two persons if required.
There is a built ¬in unit containing a TV with integral DVD player, plus a digital receiver that enables you to receive several English channels. Please Note: this is not a Sky receiver; there is also a radio/CD player and a coffee table.
Adjoining this is a dining table and 4 chairs and a fully equipped kitchen with matching dining service for 8 persons, which includes cutlery, glasses etc. along with a fridge, 2 small combination ovens and cooking utensils.
For extra privacy, the bedrooms are located at either end of the mobile home. At the one end is the twin bedroom with two single beds, a wardrobe, shelf and small drawer unit between the beds. Adjacent to that is a separate toilet.
At the other end of the mobile home is a bathroom with shower, wash basin, mirror, towel rails and shelving unit. Adjacent to that is the main bedroom, with a double bed, twin wardrobes, cupboards, dressing units and shelves.
There are twin and single doors that exit onto the large private and gated decking area, which accommodates a separate large cupboard which houses, a plumbed in new washing machine. There is also a drinks fridge. The top is useful for outdoor food preparation. Also on the decking is a 4m x 3m gazebo complete with curtains and mosquito nets, this houses a beautiful teak extending table and 6 chairs complete with matching cushions a boon for alfresco dining. There are exterior lights fitted on the mobile home and in the gazebo.
To the front of the mobile home is a gravelled parking area for one large car (although additional parking is not a problem for guests). There is a large cupboard built to match the decking along the front of the mobile home, which houses the gas bottle and is useful for extra storage.
We are including all floor coverings where applicable and all curtains and blinds, plus bedding, which includes mattress covers, pillows and duvets along with sheets and covers for each bed, two sun loungers, cutlery, crockery, glassware, and all other equipment.
We have owned this mobile home for a few years now; it has great letting potential as we rented it out last summer home a few times. Were only leaving the site due to not having the time to adequately utilise the holiday home due to time constraints
On site, there are 2 swimming pools, a bar, restaurant, take away/snack bar barbecue facilities, boules, children’s entertainment, one of the pools is mainly a children’s pool, and locally there are grocery store, fishing, golf, supermarkets, games room, laundry facilities, live entertainment, playground, tennis, water sports, sandy beaches and much more. The site is also close to Frejus village and there are many other amenities in the local area. A ten-minute drive will take you too many local beaches and the whole of the beautiful French Riviera is at your doorstep, by rail, coach or car. Go 10 minutes inland and you are at the start of the French equivalent of the Grand Canyon, the scenery is beautiful.
The site is open from 1st April to the 30th September, with concessions for owners that they may come 1 or 2 weeks prior to the start and departs before 15th October to enable setting up and draining down. Other visits are possible with prior arrangements with the site owners.
* The site fee is 4,010 Euros per annum; this figure includes water and electricity, use of the site facilities. Gas is purchased separately by bottle, which is sold on site. We have recently had fitted brand new air-conditioning costing 750 Euros which is ice cold and also heats for the colder months.
The mobile home is situated in the quiet central road (cul-de-sac) of the Le Dattier site. The site itself is family run and peaceful with an abundance of beautiful trees. To see the site in full, and its numerous facilities/swimming pools, I suggest that you look up camping Le Dattier, Frejus, France on Google. Le Dattier is approximately 35 minutes from nice airport by car/motorway. There is also a coach service from the airport to Frejus that takes similar time. During the summer months, there are regular flights into Nice by Monarch, Easy jet and many more airlines from airports all over Great Britain.
St Tropez is an hour away, as is Monaco. Inland you also have the beautiful villages, wineries and perfumeries. The local bus service stops outside the campsite and it is just 5 minutes to the old (Roman) town of Frejus and 10 minutes to the coast and St Raphael. You can link up with transport to anywhere from there.
Across the road from the site is a small but well stocked supermarket which is very reasonably priced, chemist, bank and other stores are also walking distance.
As stated above we are only selling as we do not have enough time to spend here it is an absolutely lovely mobile home on a friendly and well established site and we have had several happy years here.
