Caravan Description

This is one of our large, modern and spacious, luxury caravans, for hire on the superb South Bay Holiday Park in Devon, overlooking Brixham and the sea.

Complimentary WiFi.

It has double glazing and central heating.

The caravan has 2 bedrooms, the main bedroom has a king size bed, TV, plus an en-suite toilet and bath/shower, plus a separate toilet in the shower room. The second bedroom has twin beds.

There is also a pull-out sofa bed in the lounge but this is best suited to children or smaller persons.

The lounge has generous seating, and a wall mounted large screen TV. Complimentary WiFi is available but you will need to use your own account for any subscription channels.

The dining area is nicely laid out and the spacious kitchen has all you would need in a modern kitchen.

Outside is a lovely decking area with a table and chairs.

Pet friendly, an extra supplement of £30.00 for a 7 night stay or £20.00 for a short stay applies.




Location


South Bay Holiday Park is the ideal choice for families and couples or smaller groups. Whether you want a short break or full holiday, this area will suit all tastes.

You can use the wonderful facilities at South Bay Holiday Park and enjoy the indoor/outdoor swimming pool, playgrounds, crazy golf, clubhouse, children's 'Foxy' club and evening entertainment. Please ask about charges for Passes.

There are lovely, scenic cliff top walks with fabulous views over Brixham, Torbay and the coastline.

If you go further afield you can walk to St Mary's Bay beach, which is accessed via a number of steps. Other local beaches are close by and have all the facilities for the Great British holiday.

Brixham is a fishing port with a very attractive harbour with many lovely cafes and restaurants, plus 'crabbing' for the kids. Ferries leave Brixham for Torquay, which is a 1/2 hour sail across the bay.

Paignton is a typical English seaside resort with lots to do and see. Don't forget to try the steam train to picturesque Dartmouth; a lovely port on the river Dart, which also offers many boat trips.

A drive further afield will take you to Dartmoor, home of the famous prison and one of Sherlock Holmes' popular tales.

Brixham harbour is about 1 mile away. There is a bus stop at the Park entrance. Taxis are very reasonable and you can Park in Brixham at the local car parks (payment required). There you can enjoy the harbour area with all of its many and varied eateries and the 'Golden Hind' ship. 'Crabbing' from the quay is a popular sport enjoyed by all ages. A ferry will take you from Brixham across the bay to Torquay, another resort worth a visit!

Paignton is the next nearest resort - about a 15 minute drive. It is a typical British sea-side resort with a beach, pier and lots to do. You can also catch the steam train to Dartmouth, another lovely town, well worth a visit.
