Resting between trees & ferns this leafy haven is the prefect spot for escaping the hustle & bustle of life, allowing you to be still & appreciate the beauty of nature! The Hide is ideal for couples or friends who love nature & is designed with mindfulness in mind. It is tucked away in the grounds of Bellbrook Farm, a 40 acre fishery and small holding. The Hide is a quaint static caravan with a lovely log burner & large treetop decking perfect for soaking up the peace & enjoying a bbq.

The Hide is a treasured, old school caravan in an amazing spot! She would suit guests (all guests must be over 18) who are looking to switch off and enjoy some peace and tranquillity in beautiful surroundings. There's no wi-fi or TV and we hope this gives guests the chance to reconnect, read books, gaze at stars and enjoy great views across the lakes. There is mobile phone signal if you need it.

There is an abundance of wildlife here on the fishery, from kingfishers to deer and a beautiful array of dragonflies and damsels. The Hide is so named because it's hidden amongst trees and is the ideal place for bird watching. We love this special place as there is always something new in nature to marvel at!

The Hide forms part of Bellbrook Farm which is set down a winding country lane amidst beautiful scenery and there are many lovely walks from here. We also offer fly fishing lessons if the mood takes you - it's the perfect hobby to relax the mind and enjoy a slower pace of life.

You are more than welcome to explore the grounds of the fishery, spotting dragonflies and enjoying the wild flora and fauna. The fishery is a quiet and relaxing place, as well as a working farm. We respectfully ask that all guests support and maintain the quiet nature of the fishery. Unfortunately we are no longer able to welcome children to the fishery. The lakes are used by fly fishermen and are unsuitable for swimming, kayaking etc.

There is one other caravan sited on the fishery which is about 100m away and you have different access routes so social distancing won't be a problem! Each caravan has its own clearly defined 'residents only' area.

We are rural and can therefore offer the perfect balance of a peaceful base as well as there being lots to do nearby. Here on the farm we are home to several rare breeds and are committed to farming and living sustainably, as well as providing sustainable holidays. Everything from our fabric to our dustpan and brushes are sourced responsibly!

If you are looking for a luxury holiday with all the mod cons then The Hide is not for you. She is super clean, much loved and has everything you need for a short break. The interior is updated every year - for 2021 this includes a new kitchen sink and taps, a new double mattress, a newly tiled fireplace and the bedroom and bathroom have both been repainted. However she is an old girl and the heating comes solely from the log fire (all wood is provided free throughout your stay) so it can be chilly in the cooler months and we recommend fluffy socks and onesies!

If you want a bit of an adventure and a great value stay somewhere a little different we'd love to welcome you!

Access to this lovely old girl is by foot only. You can not drive to it or park outside it. It is a five minute stroll from the fishery car park and you can soak up the views and sounds of birdsong along the way. It is lit by fairy lights but we do recommend arriving in daylight as it is tucked away and we are only onsite until 6pm. We hope to see you soon and if you have any questions please ask.

Ellen & Chris
