Devenish Pitt Farm and Stables is situated in the picturesque East Devon Coly Valley; a peaceful country setting four miles from the market town of Honiton and close to numerous coastal towns and villages along the beautiful Jurassic coast.

The Stable Cottage is a superbly converted stone barn, originally a traditional barn where sheaves of corn were threshed. It was later turned into stables for the working horses, and has now been tastefully converted into this spacious three bedroom holiday cottage rental.

Oak beamed throughout, with its own garden and shared use of the large farmhouse garden, the cottage offers you the chance to have a relaxing holiday and admire the spectacular views, whilst enjoying barbecues and meals outside.

The Stable Cottage comprises a lounge with wood burner; dining room; fully equipped kitchen; utility room with dishwasher and washing machine; a family bathroom plus downstairs toilet.

There are three bedrooms. The master bedroom has a double bed and en-suite shower, bath and toilet. The second bedroom is a spacious twin bedded room, whilst the third is a bunk room with full size single beds.

All equipment, bed linen and towels are included, with no hidden extra costs.

There is a parking space beside the cottage and additional parking close by.

The Stable Cottage is also fully central heated throughout, so will be nice and cozy, whatever the weather.

Enjoy the numerous walks from right outside the door - and don't forget to bring your binoculars to watch the wildlife and a little bird watching!

Parking is available right outside the cottage.

We also provide FREE Wi-Fi.

Devenish Pitt Farm and Stables has many farm animals and pets; willing volunteers can help on the farm, feed our friendly pygmy goats (who love banana skins!) and groom and help fetch our many friendly horses and ponies from the fields.

However, guests not interested in the farm or horses will be equally as happy as those that may be very keen on this aspect of the holiday.

From the riding school opposite we offer hacks in our beautiful countryside and indoor/outdoor lessons from a friendly team of instructors. Family rides are available. For those who have never ridden before we can offer part lessons followed by part gentle ride out.

Fully supervised children's half days at the stables can be arranged, to include a range of stable management instruction as well as riding.

Come to enjoy the quiet tranquillity of the countryside around you. Numerous walks and local places of interest with fishing, golf, sandy/pebble beaches etc., are all minutes away.
