The caravan has a courtesy light that can be turned on when going out in the evening.

Outside the caravan there is decking, complete with large table with umbrella (kept under bed in small bedroom) and chairs (cushions in large bedroom overhead cupboard) There is also a Kebur bench with cushion inside it for your comfort and a small box container with young child’s paddling pool etc. Around the end of the caravan there is a lock up which houses a fire pit for BBQ evenings, body boards, beach chairs, a wind break and hammer (do not lose please) plus other handy bits.

Location

North Morte Farm Caravan Park is located at Mortehoe in Woolacombe. The walk into the village of Mortehoe is not very far and the village has two lovely public houses that serve food, a fish and chip shop and a brilliant takeaway (Rockleigh). There is also a bistro on the corner offering accommodation and specialty food and a Farmhouse serving cream teas in the garden. The village also has an interesting museum with play area including swings and tractor rides on a regular basis.

On North Morte Farm Caravan Park there is a green with wooden boat, climbing area and swings and mini football pitch (no leather balls) opposite the caravan, but the management of balls is requested (signs). Around the corner is a larger fort climbing area for the older children with slide. A fish and chip van normally attends at least once a week and this is shown on a sign outside the shop, which stocks plenty of everything and has takeaway coffees and pastries.

Venturing off the park, the walk from North Morte Farm around the coast and up to the lighthouse is amazing and you can see seals on a good day.

Woolacombe is the next stop from Mortehoe with a beautiful beach and surfing, along with the Red Barn, which is just one of many eateries. If you go left out of Mortehoe up to the Mortehoe roundabout you will find “The Depot” which does fabulous food for all family members such as pizzas and roasts.

Other beaches include Barracombe, Putsborough, Braunton and Saunton to name a few, or you can travel further to Clovelly, Ilfracombe (Verity) or Combe Martin.

There is plenty to do in this lovely part of the world, and if you want to look at North Morte Farm Caravan Park website you will get plenty of other ideas.
