Lodge Description

Gas central heated, Pet friendly, Pathfinder Keepers Lodge with HOT TUB on Finlake Holiday Park (The Poplars) in South Devon, sleeping 6 people and up to 2 dogs.

Our privately owned, luxury lodge with hot tub, is set within the 130-acre, 5 Star Finlake Holiday Park, which is just off the A38 near Chudleigh, South Devon.

The lodge is non-smoking throughout.

The accommodation comprises of a large open plan living area with lounge, dining room and well-equipped kitchen. Within the kitchen is an electric oven, hob, dishwasher, microwave, fridge/freezer, separate wine fridge, washing machine/tumble dryer, toaster and kettle. Electric fans are also supplied.

The lounge has ample comfortable seating, an LED colour TV, integral Bluetooth sound system, flame effect electric fire, free Wi-Fi and panoramic views across the Devon hills. The dining area has a large dining table seating 6 people and a high chair is available. The patio doors lead out onto a large, decked patio area with garden furniture to sit and watch the world go by. There is also a screened HOT TUB for those who like to enjoy relaxation with a glass of something underneath the stars!

The two bedrooms are comprised of one double with plenty of storage space for clothes, hair dryer and an en-suite shower room with toilet and hand basin, plus a second bedroom with two adult bunk beds (4 single beds).

In addition to the en-suite, there is a separate bathroom with bath, shower, toilet and hand basin.

Our lodge is very dog friendly, with welcome biscuits, dog bowls, towels and blankets and a welcome pack for all guests.

It has parking for one car, but further spaces are situated around 50 metres away.

Bed linen and towels are supplied, iron and ironing board available.

Unfortunately, Finlake Holiday Park is not suitable for disabled visitors, due to steps and slopes.

Arrival time is from 3pm. Departure is by 10am.

£100 deposit secures your booking, with balance due 1 month before arrival. Pet charges are determined by breed.

Stays of 3 days (Friday to Monday), 4 days (Monday to Friday) and 7 days (Friday to Friday) are available. Contact us for 7 day prices.

Location

Our timber holiday lodge is positioned close to Finlake’s main facilities. These include an outdoor swimming pool; The Sirona Spa; The Retreat restaurant with a dog friendly area; The Hub with bar and shop; plus a launderette. Finlake Falls, has an indoor swimming pool with flume and a fully equipped gym.

For those luxurious moments, The Sirona Spa has 8 treatment rooms, 4 spa experiences, Caribbean storm showers and an adult only swimming/spa pool - and even a hairdresser!

There are many activities for children, including soft and outdoor play area; treetop climbing; horse riding; tennis courts; an archery range; fencing and many woodland walks for you and your four-legged friends. There are also well stocked fishing lakes.

Some activities are chargeable.

Finlake Holiday Park operates a ‘My Band’ system, which allows the owner of the band to use their facilities. These bands need to be pre-ordered before your stay - as lodge owners we can offer these at a discounted rate as follows:

3-4 night stays - Adult £20, Child (5 years and over) £10
7 night stays - Adult £30, Child (5 years and over) £15

Each short stay band must be registered to a name, and a valid email address. The bands can be collected and paid for at Finlake Falls on arrival and will be linked to a credit/debit card. This can then be used for free access to Finlake Falls indoor pool with flume, gymnasium and lockers, as well as the outdoor pool.
