A home from home Chalet set in a lovely area on the Bideford Bay Holiday Park.

The Chalet is the middle Chalet in a block of 3 with a wonderful view of the sea from the lounge & double bedroom.

There is a small communal garden next to the adjacent Chalet with a fabulous sea view. It is a flat/level area laid to grass and I provide a portable picnic table & chairs for my guests use on this area.

The Chalet is nestled in a clearing at the bottom of a steep wooded valley with the Manor House bar/restaurant and park amenities within a short level easy walking distance. Free Wi-Fi is available in the Chalet & also the Holiday Park entertainment & leisure area.

The chalet sleeps 4 in one double and one twin bedded room. The double room has a fitted unit with 2 small wardrobes & overhead storage and a 4’6’’ bed. The twin bedded room has 2’6” beds (max recommended weight 120kg each) a small wardrobe & bedside cabinet. The table lamp has usb charging ports. Both rooms benefit from additional under bed storage boxes and electric wall heaters.

Bed linen is provided.

The bathroom has an electric shower (no bath), WC, wash basin/vanity unit, shaver point and a heated towel rail.

The comfortable lounge offers a fabulous rural & sea view, 32 " flat screen combi TV/DVD player. LED electric wall fire, oil filled radiator & freestanding convector heater.

A well equipped kitchen with cooker/hob, microwave, toaster, fridge with small freezer compartment.

Electricity included in the price.

Cleaning cost is included in the price.

No towels are supplied, however a tea towel, bath mat and starter pack of hand wash, dishwashing liquid/cloth, bin liner & toilet roll are provided.

There is an iron, ironing board & hairdryer.

No smoking and no pets allowed

A refundable security/damage deposit of £50 is required. T&C apply.

The Holiday Park facilities are open from 21st March 2025 until early November. Entertainment passes are not included in the price but can be purchased, if required, directly from the Holiday Park Recreation on your arrival and subject to their terms and conditions.

About the Area

Bideford Bay Holiday Park is in an ‘Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty’ with its nature trail and the coastal path passing through the Park. You can walk the path with its spectacular views to the picturesque villages & beaches of Bucks Mill & Clovelly.

The Holiday Park has good facilities and an entertainment package from March - November (separate fee payable & t&c’s apply) there’s a kids’ club, family entertainment, heated indoor pool throughout the season and heated outdoor pool with raised sundecks & snack facilities for the summer months. A children’s adventure playground, tennis court & crazy golf. There's also a Launderette and a park shop for essentials.
The Manor House has a bar, restaurant/takeaway along with the Holiday Park entertainment programme throughout the season. A van for takeaway fish and chips is located just outside the Manor House. Reception will provide information on the Holiday Park, Local area & attractions.

Free wi-fi is available in the clubhouse, entertainment & leisure complex. There is also free wifi in the Chalet.

Locally there is a Post Office and store at Bucks Mill near the park’s entrance and larger stores such as Asda, Aldi and Lidl by the Affinity Devon Outlet shopping village (previously known as the Atlantic shopping village) approximately 5 miles away.

Venture away from the park and there's so much to see and enjoy. Please contact the venues direct to ascertain opening times.

This entire area is an 'Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty' and a walker's paradise along the South West Coast Path. There are dramatic coastal views and especially good beaches for surfing & body boards, rock pooling and beach combing.

Some good beaches for inexperienced surfers include: Westwood Ho (Surf school) Clovelly (Surfing & Paddleboarding lessons & tours) or stray over the Cornish border to Sandymouth (‘National Trust’ car park, shop, lifeguards) or Bude.
