Chalet Description
Set in the quiet, beautiful area of North Devon, is our pet friendly, family owned chalet that has just been renovated and redecorated. We have double glazing throughout and a Fire Exit. The main front door has a top opening feature.
We have one twin bedroom with two single beds, Smart TV, a small wardrobe, drawers, a radiator, and heated airer under the bed. The main bedroom has a standard double bed, up and over cabinets, Smart TV and a radiator.
The open plan living area includes the lounge, kitchen and dining area. The lounge has a corner sofa that hides that pull-out double bed, a large Smart TV, and a blow air heater with colour lighting and flame. The dining area has a shoe cupboard, dining table with two chairs and a bench, which can also be used as a coffee table.
Fully equipped kitchen for all your self-catering needs, including a full size fridge freezer, oven, hob, microwave, air fryer, double toaster, kettle, breadbin and 3 way toastie maker. The cleaning cupboard has some products (child locked) for you to use, hoover, mop, bucket, broom, and a clothes airer.
The large bathroom boasts a large bath, shower over bath, toilet and sink.
Outside we have a private patio area, with a cube chair and table set, and a BBQ area.
Wi-Fi is included FREE of charge.

About the Area
Bideford Bay Holiday Park is quite hilly and not suitable for anybody with physical disabilities, so please bear this is in mind.There are plenty of facilities available on site including indoor and outdoor swimming pools, small well stocked shop, clubhouse with arcade, bar activities and bingo. You will need to purchase park passes form reception to go swimming, play bingo or to be involved with any of the activities, but you can use the bar without passes.
This is a David Bellamy and National Trust site, offering plenty of walks, hikes and wildlife. There is also a walk/hike to a small shingle beach from the site, which is signposted.
Bude, Bideford Bay, Clovelly, Westward Ho! and Barnstaple are within a short driving distance from site, with many restaurants, bars, some cocktail bars, shops and supermarkets for you to explore.
Bideford has a small ASDA, Affinity outlet, Big Sheep, Milky W ay and plenty of other things to do, this is just a short drive away.
There is also a ferry from Bideford Bay that takes you over to Lundy Island, which is a National Trust site, this should be booked in advance as tickets sell out quickly.
It may be worth searching Google for other areas to explore around Bucks Cross as there are too many to mention.
If you are looking for the quiet countryside with wildlife, plenty of walks, beaches, treks, and good food, then this is the area for you!
