Caravan Description
Our static caravan on Beer Head Caravan Park offers one double bedroom and two twin bedrooms.
Facilities include a shower room with a 1 meter shower cubicle, basin and loo, plus a second separate loo with hand basin.
The caravan is used by the owners as a holiday home, and therefore furnished with comfortable leather couches, a modern dining suite and a fully fitted kitchen including a dishwasher.
A small well behaved dog is welcome at no extra charge and we supply dog towels, throws for the couches (we know that some guests will love a snuggle with their furry friend), a spare lead and dog bowls.
The caravan is not suitable for young children.
There will be a bottle of fizz on arrival to welcome our guests or if you prefer something else, please just ask.
Bed linen is provided, but we ask our guests to bring their own towels and face cloths.
Location
Beer Head Caravan Park is a quiet, family run caravan park with on site WiFi. There is a on site shop stocking the essentials ( but Tesco in Seaton will deliver) and a small bistro with wonderful sea views, offering home cooked food daily ( booking advised).
Other park facilities include a coin operated launderette and a book/dvd swap station open 24/7 plus 7 EV charging stations and electric bike hire.
A short stroll down the hill and you will find the pretty hidden treasure of Beer village with dog friendly pubs, art galleries and the sloping pebbled Beer beach. Why not enjoy the early morning beach view with a breakfast sandwich from one of the beach food huts.
Please note that our outside patio is very limited in space ( we have 2 rustic wooden armed chairs outside) but we are opposite the delightful bistro, pitch D70, which has a sizeable patio with lovely sea views ( patrons only).
We are situated on Beer Head Caravan Park overlooking the beautiful Lyme Bay, minutes from the South West Coastal Path and a short walk from the pebbled Beer beach.
Close to Seaton, approximately 10 miles from Sidmouth and in easy reach of Exeter by car.
Our caravan is ideal for walkers, dog lovers, couples, those visiting family locally and small groups.
Locally is the Seaton Tramway to Colyford, the wetlands and the pebbled beaches at Seaton and Branscombe.
Pecorama is popular with families and Crealy Family Theme Park is a 40 minute drive away.
Beer Quarry Caves, the 2000 year old stone quarry is a popular tour with our guests and tours run from April to October.
Lyme lifeboat week and Sidmouth Folk Week in July are always popular as is the Beer Regatta Week in August.
