Welcome to Lodge 716 Nelson’s Meadow, our privately owned luxury lodge designed for maximum comfort - far beyond the standard holiday let.

Located in an exclusive area of the White Acres site, our lodge is accessible only via a secure swipe card system, ensuring a peaceful and private retreat.

Upon arrival, guests are greeted with fresh flowers, chocolates for the children, and a complimentary fruit bowl. The kettle will be ready, accompanied by a selection of premium teas and three types of coffee: Nescafé, filter coffee and Dolce Gusto Americano. To embrace the true Cornish experience, you can relax on the front deck overlooking the meadow, oak tree and lake while enjoying a traditional cream tea with scones, butter, strawberry jam and clotted cream.

The warm welcome continues with a hot roast chicken, new potatoes, and a fresh salad waiting for you. If you prefer a cold drink, the fridge is stocked with chilled wine, beer, and a selection of soft drinks—all included in your stay.

For added convenience, the lodge is fully stocked with essentials, eliminating the need for a grocery run upon arrival. Guests will find fresh bread, chocolate biscuits, pâté, ham, cheese, salad, yoghurts, orange juice, eggs and jam.

The kitchen is also well-equipped with cereals, baked beans, sweetcorn, pasta, rice, tinned tomatoes, tuna, flour, oils, pasta sauces, herbs, and condiments, ensuring there are plenty of ingredients to prepare a meal.

All beds will be freshly made and hand and bath towels provided, along with household essentials such as toilet rolls, kitchen roll, washing-up liquid, dishwasher tablets, laundry detergent, and fabric conditioner.

The outdoor space is designed for both relaxation and convenience. Unlike many caravans on site, 716 Lodge has private parking for 2 vehicles. The lodge features an extra-large side terrace, a unique addition as it was originally a showroom lodge. This space includes a lockable storage box for fishing gear or beach equipment, a power washer with a snow foam gun and car brush attachment, as well as a Henry Hoover - perfect for cleaning up after a beach day. There is also a dining table and seating (ideal for sorting out fishing tackle) for a chat and coffee, along with a rotary drier (not many have one of these on site). The gated (lockable) side terrace provides a safe play area for children, and comes complete with a variety of outdoor toys, including beach balls, golf putters, a beach tent and badminton equipment. Guests can also request fishing tackle if needed. The front terrace, accessible via double patio doors, offers an eight-seater dining table and comfortable seating, all overlooking the picturesque meadow and lake. Private parking is available for two cars.

Inside, the lodge comfortably accommodates six guests across three bedrooms. The master bedroom features a king-size bed and a large TV with Sky, along with an en-suite with a walk-in shower. The second bedroom also has a king-size bed, wardrobe, 3 windows and a large TV. The third bedroom includes twin single beds, a wardrobe, wall-mounted TV and side window.

The family bathroom boasts a full-size bath with overhead shower, a wash basin, WC and heated towel rail.

For entertainment, the lodge offers Sky TV, a 65” Smart TV, DVD player, sound system with USB ports, and a karaoke setup. Private Wi-Fi and an Alexa Studio are also provided. A collection of board games, DVDs, books, CDs and beach games are available for guests to enjoy.

The fully equipped kitchen includes a dual oven Ninja Air Fryer, dishwasher, separate AAA rated washing machine and separate tumble dryer, a Dolce Gusto coffee machine, gas hob, electric oven, kettle, microwave and toaster.

We are Geoff and Jane, the owners. We live nearby and personally welcome guests upon arrival and are available to assist throughout your stay, ensuring a seamless experience.

Smoking is NOT permitted inside the lodge, but is allowed on the terraces, but please dispose of litter responsibly and efficiently.
