Our 38x12, 3 bedroom, dog friendly Swift Moselle static caravan for hire on Trevella Park in Crantock, near Newquay, is situated on ‘The Meadow’; a quiet and secluded part of the site with grass parking for 2/3 cars.
The caravan is available from the end of March until the end of October.
It sleeps 6 comfortably.
Our static caravan has central heating, which is supplemented by a panel heater in the lounge, where you will also find a TV.
The open plan kitchen is fully equipped with matching crockery and cutlery for 6 people. It also has a large fridge freezer, microwave, full size gas oven and hob, along with a toaster, kettle and vacuum.
There is a hairdryer in the double bedroom, which has an en-suite toilet with wash basin.
The main shower room has a spacious shower, toilet and wash basin.
Outside there is a sunny, gated veranda with large table and six chairs, plus parasol.
Dog baskets and bowls for two well behaved medium sized dogs are provided.
A travel cot cannot be supplied and the sofa bed is not in use, after Covid-19 restrictions
Gas and electric is included in our rental price.
Towels , shower mat/rug and washing up items along with bed linen are NOT included, so please remember to bring with you. Bin liners and toilet rolls are supplied.
No smoking is allowed. Smoke and carbon monoxide alarms are supplied, but from time to time may need new batteries. Please see Reception at Trevella
No BBQs allowed on the decking.
Short breaks are not available.
Location
‘The Meadow’ is a quiet, secluded part of Trevella Park. On site you will find a dog grooming and dog wash site, along with extensive dog walking areas.
Also on site is a café/takeaway, crazy golf, fishing lakes, outdoor heated pool, games room, a small aviary and more than one children’s play areas.
A bus service just outside the park goes to Newquay, Truro and many of the local beaches. There is a surf school at Crantock Beach offering lessons and hire of surf boards, wet suits and paddle boards. Crantock village (partly thatched) has two public houses, a church and more than one good tea room, along with the local shop/Post Office.
A walk through farmland and woodland from Trevella ends on the River Gannel, from where you can walk either to Crantock Beach or towards Newquay (only at low tide!).
Nearby events include the Crantock Bale Push (September), Newquay Fish Festival (September), St Agnes Bolster Festival (usually early May bank holiday), Blue Hills Land’s End Trial Hill Climb also at St Agnes (Easter) and the Gig Racing Championships at Newquay (various dates). Not to be missed is the spectacular poppy and corn marigold fields behind Polyjoke Beach in June/July, which lasts perhaps for 3 weeks, but is dependant on the weather!
