Providing direct contact with the Holiday Home owner since 2003
Steepleview is our much loved, pet friendly, second home on Parkdean’s St Minver Holiday Park, near Rock in Cornwall; perfect for 2 couples or a family of 4.
Sorry, this property is not currently available.
Our pet friendly holiday lodge to let on St Minver Holiday Park, is close to loads of great dog friendly places to visit, including Port Isaac (Doc Martin), Tintagel, Boscastle, Rock, Daymar Bay and Padstow (by foot ferry from Rock beach) to name but a few.
The lodge has 2 bedrooms; a main bedroom with 5ft bed and en-suite bathroom, and a second bedroom with twin single beds that can be made into a 5ft double if preferred. The family bathroom is just across the hall.
We also have a put-you-up bed that can go in the sitting room area.
Because we love cooking (especially seafood) the kitchen is very well equipped, although we can recommend some great places to eat nearby - or how about buying some local lobster nearby?
The sitting/dining room and kitchen are open plan, so very sociable. There is a wall-mounted TV in the sitting room as well as in both bedrooms. A DVD player is available for your use too, complete with DVDs.
Outside we have wraparound decking, with a small charcoal BBQ, 2 tables and 6 chairs, so plenty of space.
Our Romanian rescue dogs, Grace & Noodle, love sitting outside watching the squirrels and rabbits. Maximum of 2 dogs allowed at an additional charge of £25.
We hope that you enjoy Steepleview as much as we do. We have many returning visitors each year.

There is a nice dog walk through the park and woods, or a field very near by. Many of the beaches in Cornwall are dog friendly all year, including the nearest two which are Rock and Daymar Bay. Polzeath beach is only dog friendly in the winter time.
Our favourite places to eat nearby are The Pityme Inn (also has a small shop and does takeaways too), which is bookable online. It offers a great Sunday lunch and is dog friendly.
Also, The Point Golf Club with an upstairs restaurant – again, great Sunday lunch and dog friendly.
There is a fish and chip shop in Rock, which is next door to an excellent Spar shop.
Further afield we like The Fish House at Fistral Beach and Rick Stein’s pub at St Merryn, called The Mariners Arms
In Rock itself, is an award-winning restaurant called The Dining Room, which is extra special for anniversaries, birthdays etc.
All of these need to be booked in advance (except fish and chip shop or takeway).
There is a excellent range of small shops in Rock, including a fish shop, deli, butchers and Spar, but about 6 miles away is Wadebridge, which is great to shop in, with a range of boutiques etc. There is a large Tesco and Aldi on the edge of the town or a Co-op and Lidl in the town. There is a nice walk next to Lidl on the Camel Trail, or you can hire bikes there to bike to Padstow.
Padstow is about a 40 minute drive from the lodge, or you can drive down to Rock car park (payable) and catch the foot passenger ferry (tide times are in the lodge) for £6 per adult return (dogs free). This takes about 10 minutes and is very enjoyable.
There is so much to do in the local area, it is no wonder that guests keep returning. Do read our visitor book in the lodge as there are some great suggestions for places to visit.
