Welcome to our very cosy, compact, 2 bedroom family holiday home on Kernow View in, a super location on Haven's Perran Sands Holiday Park on the spectacular North Cornwall coast.

We, and our family, spend as much time as we can at the caravan and our young twin grandchildren love it here playing on the dune's.

We pride ourselves that we can provide a really relaxing getaway. A TV in the lounge which plays DVDs when you want to chill out.


We have two bedrooms - a double bedroom with a TV and a twin bedded room. Both bedrooms have with loads of storage space, including a wardrobe and cupboards. As an option, you can put the twin beds together and with our comforters. You have a double bed like a room like a snug.


The shower room has a shower, a basin and a WC, plus the added extra of a heated towel rail.

The kitchen has a gas cooker, microwave, kettle and toaster. There's also a separate "tower" fan cooker and a Tassimo coffee pod machine.

The lounge area has a relaxing electric flame effect fire. A corner seating unit. (incorporating a fold-up double bed), a TV with integrated DVD player and various DVDs to choose from. Some family games are also provided plus many extras.

It has parking space for at least 2 cars and backs onto open dunes (the twins love the natural sand pits) with a grassed area at the back to play on. On a clear day you can see the sea. There is a wooden table/benches for outdoor eating, and you are welcome to use our 'zero gravity' sun loungers, windbreaker and parasol (not for the beach-sorry).

Bookings & Conditions

We supply mattress protectors, comforters, sheets, pillow cases and duvet covers as well as white duvets & pillows.

Play passes are needed to access the live lounge and the swimming pools, which can be purchased at Perran Sands Reception or online before your arrival date.

Access to the restaurants, takeaways, bars and mini market is free.

Perran Sands is a family park and park rules do not allow same sex groups (hen/stag parties). Also, unruly guests may be asked to leave.

A non-refundable deposit of £90 is required on booking, with the balance due 6 weeks before your arrival date.



Location

Our caravan is about 100m to what we call 'the grassy banks', which is an ideal spot to watch the glorious sunsets, and where you can walk down to Penhale beach or stroll over the banks, past the golf course and down to Perranporth beach and shops. This is not suitable for people with mobility problems, but the beach path is a 'wheeled' alternative to get to Penhale beach.

There is a regular bus service to and from Perranporth as well as towards Truro and Newquay.

Facilities on Perran Sands Holiday Park include:

. Indoor and outdoor swimming pools with a water chute and 'lazy river'
. The live lounge entertainment centre with live entertainment, bar and amusement arcade
. Various children's play areas
. Main complex, which houses restaurants, bars, a mini market, takeaways, activity hub and a crazy golf course

In the local area are the towns of Perranporth, Newquay and Truro, each with a wide choice of shops. A short drive (or long walk along the coast path) is Holywell Bay, one of the more famous locations, thank to the BBC Poldark series.

This area of Cornwall is famous for its iconic mines and sandy beaches, such as St Agnes, Chapel Porth, Porthtowan, Portreath, Godrevy (with its landmark lighthouse) and Bedruthen Steps.

Within about 45 minutes' drive are the historic ports of St. Ives, Falmouth, Looe and Mevagissey.
