Atlas Ruby Deluxe, 35 x 12, modern and comfortable dog friendly caravan for hire on Perran Sands Holiday Park, situated just a one minute walk from the dunes and sandy beach paths.

Our lovely double glazed and centrally heated caravan enjoys the following:

We provide complimentary tea, coffee selection, hot chocolate, sugar, biscuits, chilled water, soft drinks & fresh milk ready for your arrival, so you can have a rest, drink and use the facilities before heading out to explore!

We also provide washing-up liquid, washing-up utensils, tea towels, hand soap, sanitisers, toilet rolls, hand towels & bin liners as well as cleaning equipment should you need this during your stay.

For younger children, we supply a high chair, bed guard, stair gate, protective bedding and fun bedding. Just request what you need on your Booking Form, this is all included in the price.

For dogs, we provide a ceramic water bowl, waterproof dog blanket (which is rotated and washed each week), dog door guard and poo bags. If you require anything further, just request on the Booking Form and we will see what we can do!!

If you would like food and drink placed in the caravan ready for your arrival, just provide a list of items on your Booking Form and this can easily be arranged and paid for online prior to your holiday.

You will need to bring your own bath towels and toiletries.


Covid-19 Safety for 2021

We make the beds up ready for you. Bedding is washed at 60 degrees in antibacterial washing powder. You are welcome to bring your own bed linen if you wish.

Our cleaner wears a mask and gloves whilst deep cleaning, while fully airing the caravan throughout for several hours. As well as the normal caravan cleaning procedures, all surfaces, switches, door handles, taps, door fronts & your keys are all antibacterial cleaned. Floors are also cleaned and steamed throughout. The sofa is steamed and sprayed with an antibacterial surface spray and all cushions are washed and rotated accordingly for each week.


Location

Our privately owned holiday home is situated close to the dunes and sandy beach paths on Perran Sands Holiday Park and is also within an easy stroll of the Haven village.

With dog friendly accommodation, just relax with your favourite friend(s) and enjoy amazing walks from your doorstep together. Why not take the sandy path to the beach, have a relaxing walk and enjoy lunch at The Watering Hole on Perranporth Beach, who are also dog friendly! We provide an easy to follow map showing you walking routes your dog(s) will love, so you don’t feel lost and can really enjoy the area properly just like us locals!

Perran Sands is adjacent to Perranporth. You can easily walk over the headland on the coastal path to Perranporth from Haven or walk down to the beach and walk across the beach to Perranporth when the tide is out. Haven also adjoins Perranporth Golf Club and you can walk the coastal path to Holywell Bay too, across the old disused MOD camp at Penhale.

Haven also has a sweet little village offering a convenience food store, gift shop, pizza and fish & chip takeaways, restaurant and entertainments such as crazy golf, outdoor and indoor swimming pools, entertainments and childrens' clubs.

Truro and Newquay are only 7 miles away and Perran Sands is an ideal base for exploring Cornwall.

About the Owner

I was born and brought up in Rejerrah (between Perran Sands and Cubert) on a farm. We used to exercise our horses on the dunes and beach and know this area very well indeed! The army used to be active at Penhale Camp at Holywell Bay and Mount and we would regularly see chinook helicopters, tanks, gunfire and flares while riding! Surprisingly our horses were good with armed warfare but scared silly of cars!! One of my first holiday jobs was working for Ladbrokes (before Haven) in the gift shop.

After moving away to go to college and meeting my husband, we purchased a caravan at Haven so I could return ‘home’ on our holidays. We now live in Goonhavern (which is only 5 mins drive away from Perran Sands) and own and run a Post Office and Convenience Store at Shortlanesend, Truro.

A few rules for dogs:
Please see Haven's website for park rules regarding dogs as some specific breeds are not allowed.

Dogs must be on a lead within Haven Park and Village. However, it is only a minute to the dunes where you can let your dog(s) off the lead to have tons of fun!

Please use the poo bins provided on the park.

There is a dog deposit of £100 which is refundable after your holiday if all is well with the caravan. The dog deposit is paid as an additional sum prior to the holiday.

We would consider 3 dogs staying if they are very well behaved.

Please do not leave your dog(s) unattended in the caravan if your dog(s) are prone to barking.
