Caravan Description

We have been hiring out our caravan on Lizard Point Holiday Park (formerly Mullion Holiday Park) since 2014 and have had many guests re-book with us year after year.

We purchased the caravan from new and have been proud to maintain it to a very high level.


OUR CARAVAN

Our exceptional caravan is located in The Heathers area of Lizard Point Holiday Park, within a short walk (about 5 minutes) of the main facilities and clubhouse.

We also have a large deck with ample room to sit and enjoy the weather.

The caravan comprises:

. Two toilets (main one with shower)
. 3 bedrooms (1 double, 2 twin)
. Gas oven and hob
. Large upright fridge/freezer.
. Kettle, toaster, microwave and sandwich maker
. Pots, pans, cutlery, crockery, glasses etc.
. Iron and ironing board
. Hairdryer
. Large comfortable lounge
. TV/DVD
. Wi-Fi (for basic usage, plus option to purchase streaming for small fee from site provider)
. Large deck with patio table, chairs, parasol and reclining lounger

We supply tea towels and all bed linen.

We DO NOT supply towels, so please bring your own.

Our caravan is available from 3pm (sometimes earlier) and must be vacated by 10am on the day of departure.

Location

The Lizard Point Holiday Park is a Parkdean Resorts park. Activities and facilities include :

. Pedal cars
. High ropes
. Trampoline
. Crazy golf
. Sports dome
. Heated indoor and outdoor swimming pools
. Arts and craft den
. Small Indoor bowling
. The Boathouse bar and restaurant, which serves Costa coffee
. Evening entertainment, with pool tables area and much more

On arrival you can purchase leisure passes from Reception. These are NOT included in the caravan hire price. Activities can be booked before your holiday or once you arrive, by contacting Reception.

At the time of writing the passes are approximately £25 per person, per week, but you should contact Reception for up to date costs closer to your holiday.




Local Area

Stunning coastal attractions include The Lizard, where you can often see sea lions in the distance, but also closer by, around the little harbour. This is a National Trust site, so parking is free to members or for a small fee for non-members. There is also The Lizard Lighthouse.

Kynance Cove is close by and has a nice walk down to an amazing beach, with fantastic views. There is a café serving very good quality food and drinks.

About a 20 minute drive away is the village of Coverack, with its quaint tearoom and delicious fish and chips outlet. There is a nice beach here too. Parking can sometimes be a challenge, but it’s well worth a visit.

Kennack Sands has two wonderful beaches. You are able to walk dogs on the second beach.

Roskilly Farm is famous for its wide variety of delicious Cornish ice cream.

You can also see real chocolates being made at the Chocolate factory and craft centre at Mullion Meadows, which is only 2 miles or so from the Park. From here it’s a short walk to the Mullion Cove Hotel and its stunning views over the Atlantic.

For days out, Flambards Theme Park is close by or the seal sanctuary at Gweek. Poldhu Cove is great for swimming and/or surfing and the sand is plentiful. Surfing lessons can also be arranged.

Overall, you will be very happy you chose to holiday at The Lizard.
